With more than one vaccine claiming to be over 90% effective, its looking increasingly likely that by this time next year some form of normality might be in place. Can you imagine... Personally the Mem is going to be the first mass event I will be attending The atmosphere The noise The smell The overpriced burned sausage roll The bloke next door watering on your shoes The Wellington I cant wait what is anyone else looking forward to?

Giving Brett Huxtable abuse before kick off. Banter with Akinfenwa on his way to the bench... and off the pitch after his red card.

Raise a glass to all those we lost this year, stand in the blackthorn again proud that we still can. Sing till i lose me voice, get battered about by the crowd in pain but happy as fook that we are back. Remortgage the planet too get at a half time meal deal. Spend the second half getting more pain but feel it's justified as i bought the meal deal without being coerced by any one else(apart from my stomach, but it's already being punished, by a pasty even harder than a rock cake coated in titanium).
Meander back home thinking why the feck did i put myself through that knowing it will be done again and again
Casnt feckin wait

Banks and the police make examples of slags who dishonestly try to keep money paid into their bank account in error.

A nice pre- match pint in the Annex. Trips to out of the way away games, I would have gone to Lincoln but for covid. Any seeing football in the flesh and not on my iPhone.

That first full-throated belt out of Irene is what I'm looking forward too most.
That tingle down the spine

Would anybody shoot me down if i said i have fallen out of love with football a bit? I am sure the buzz will come back but just feel a bit meh about it now.

It’s going to be interesting when fans are allowed back into stadiums to see what attendances will be , coupled with people like yourself who have fallen out of love for the game & fans over say 60 who will still be a bit apprehensive about attending.

Still got "the buzz" for Rovers but completely lost interest in the Premier League, which is a bit odd given it's much closer this year with Liverpool and Man City not looking great.

I think it would be savvy for teams to really pull out all the stops on the return of fans. There'll be a huge uptick in attendances I believe. Similar to you 4th, I'm a bit disillusioned with canned-crowd TV matches (etc..!), but that will return with a ferver I know. Clubs will want to carry those first few matches, and there's a chance to set a new bar for the match day experience moving forward. Everybody that buys one ticket could be tempted to go again, so we need to make that happen!

Had exactly the same conversation the other day with a mate who lives up north. I have been watching Rovers on iFollow, I try to get up for games, but it’s just not the same. He has decided to watch local football instead, until the latest lockdown, and is really enjoying it. Something I think I will do more of when this pandemic is over.

The matchday buzz walking through the gates, and the smell of liniment as I walk past the dressings rooms, can't wait to get back there.

I can’t wait to get back, I think it will take some time before we are back to full capacity. Tilly, I thought I was the only one who enjoyed the smell of liniment 😀
