I think if we get after this game like we did on Wednesday we can expect goals, from both teams. I feel like our firepower is superior to their and the likes of Hanlan and Nicholson will really frighten that defence - predicting a high score line in our favour
Formation wise... I don't expect many changes yet but in time i would not be surprised to see us test a back four
-----------------------Jaakkola-----------------------
------ Kilgour ----- Ehmer ----- Harries ------
-Hare --- Grant --- Westbrooke --- Tutonda-
--------------Oztumer-----Nicholson-----------
---------------------Hanlan----------------------
Ps I think we are better with 2 strikers but i wanted to see Nicholson and Ozzy together!
What do you think? What would you do?

Same but Daly for Oztumer.
Oztumer hasn't done enough for me and we look better when Daly and Hanlan play together in my opinion.

I would have fancied us to get at least a draw even before BG left so I think we should get a least a point, hopefully their new managers bounce is over and ours is about to begin.

Can't make my mind up which would be best as a new manager and in the first game - facing a team like Swindon who are not in the greatest of form at the moment (but then again neither are we!) is a good thing or would it have been better to face a top 4/6 team? The former being a game many will say we should win (new manager bounce etc) and if we don't will bring criticism to PT or the latter which has the obvious excuses built in if it all goes Pete Tong for which he/we can say its work in progress. Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess....😊

This game will surely have lots of chances and goals in it. Hopefully, one more goal for us.

Will be interesting to see the team tomorrow, after Weds the starting 11 have all made a strong case to keep their places. Obviously Jaakkola will come back in and I'd be surprised if Westbrooke doesnt start but by my reckoning there are another 5 regular squad members who weren't involved in midweek who could all come back into the squad. Oztuhmer, Baldwin, Koiki, McCormick & JML. A nice problem to have

Judging by Tisdales first interview I'd say we'll setup the same as against Chelsea. Personnel might be different but style I think he'll not want to change too much straight away.
Main thing for me is pressure on thier back line. They have mistakes in them and players like Daly are able to exploit that as we've seen a couple of times this season

Daley and hanlan to start together up front. They haven’t kept a clean sheet in 12 games if we can tighten up the mistakes at the back then we’ll win because I think we’ll get two or three tomorrow if we play those two .

Anyone know if PT has even had a chance of a proper training session yet? i would not expect any drastic changes to personnel or formation tomorrow. I an confident for the game, which thinking about it is a bit of a worry. Suppose i will have to drink during the game again... FFS.

Would have been hell of an occasion if fans were allowed, think we would have turned up on mass and taken over the place!

I expect us to win 3-1 as I have a whopping £2 on us and Bournemouth to win by that score.
I’m not sure if Tisdale will change too much, I’d like to see Nicholson and Daly behind Hanlan as I think there are goals in those 3
Both defences dodgy so I predict goals
Which will mean 0-0

That could be quite savvy. Let it be known he’s assessing the squad for 3-4 games before jumping in and making the team selection after that time. Takes the pressure off him and let’s the players start fighting to impress! Hoping for a positive performance tomorrow, I’m not expecting to be in the top 8 this season but if we are to avoid a relegation scrap we need to be picking up points in these games. UTG

UTG Yeah if Garner had done that and just changed bits here and there I’m certain he would have done better and perhaps might still be in a job. Rome wasn’t built on a day and you can’t change the tactics and mentality of a large group of people overnight. I think Tisdale being an experienced manager will know this.

Thanks goodnightirene, a good detailed description and stats breakdown. I enjoy your posts. For me, as others have said, I would not expect any changes to our setup or personnel tomorrow. I would bring back jaakola, keep the same back 5 that started Wednesday. Midfielder I would go with grant, Westbrook holding with Nicholson in behind Hanlan and Daly. Prediction is a comfortable 2-0 win.
