Alot were shouting for 2 up front under BG.
But i think our modest improvement has come playing 4 at the back. 3 games (against poor sides, i know) but only 1 goal conceded and that came via a goalie error.
Also, If you listen back to the Ehmer scout report on Gaschat- i think they said he was better in a two.
Weve gone a little simple- yes but were playing much much better now. I think were naturally set up for 4 - 3 - 3.

Well just had a cheeky peek at the gas reserves playing a training game versus bath city. Harries and Kilgour didnt look good enough together for me. Kilgour looked slow and harries looks more of a midfielder to me, he went forward and passed better than most but not convincing at cb and bath seemingly got in too easy at times. Baldwin and Ehmer then? Lol
Tutonda didnt look on song but that Zain walker is effing rapid and looks worth a punt! Jvs although cack is better than Armstrong who was very lucky to make up for a hige error of judgement. Felt emotional walking home, miss it so much. Cant wait to scream irene in a packed ground again.

I agree that 4 at the back is more important than 2 up top at the moment. (I do also prefer 2 or 3 forwards). We were leaking so many goals, so it doesn't take an Einstein to see we had to change the 3 at the back system. Also, I think our weakest recruitment in the summer were the defenders - of all the recruits I rate Tutonda the most (surprised he lost his place but looks as if Tis wants more experience in his team). Baldwin and Harries - have mistakes in them on a regular basis and Ehmer has been average ( not the quickest either). Think Alfie struggled when he was asked to play right of a three or the right back. I hope he gets a chance to stake his claim in the middle of the 4 soon. So will be happy foe Tis to persist with 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 for the time being. Looks like he won't have a chance to pair up Daly and Hanlan again on Wednesday - one or the other has been missing for him so far.

Yeah until we get Ayunga back in contention I can't see Hanlan and Daly playing together for a while as one will probably be cover for the other? (plus the Daly injury ofc) I could be wrong but you would imagine that Daly would be sub for Hanlan in the short term.
