People won’t behave over Christmas so it will be back to tier three end of next week. Hardly any point moving the tiers about on the 19th as it’s going to be a free for all 3 days after that anyway then full lockdown in January. Perhaps some can voluntarily lock themselves down to compensate? It would actually work if enough people did it. Could also get a go fund me page for the NHS. There’s loads of positive, constructive things we can do, other than being vocal.

It's just going to be a yo-yo effect. Relax restrictions, see cases rise, increase restrictions, see cases fall, relax restrictions, lather, rinse, repeat.

I think that’s been the idea since the start. Other nations locked down and closed the borders and decided they had zero risk appetite. We will only see in the long run which approach is more successful.

Emphasis has been put on the public behaving responsibly and most of us just can’t. There’ll be loads of people licking each other’s faces on Christmas Day just because they can and because they think the virus doesn’t affect them personally. Let’s be fair if the people of the country had acted responsibly most of the country would be in tier 1/2 as it is it’s mostly in tier 3 and there is a very good reason for that and it’s not to do with anything other than people’s behaviour.

Feels a bit to me that the Bristol drop and the Hereford drop are an experiment....
Only 1 example of each well out of the way of London and the north west....
We are the guinea pigs....

Are the club allowed to sell tickets?
We have 1,500 ST holder this year I believe, I'd imagine not all of them will want to go, which potentially leaves 8-900 tickets per home game.
Wonder if they'll put those on sell?

You've seen the latest US figures from Thanks giving... 250k new cases, in 24hrs.

I’ve been on public transport a couple of times recently and the attitude to mask wearing is water poor. People can’t be bothered by the looks of things.

To be honest I am quite enjoying watching every game on the television.
1. Less match day cost up from Somerset and no parking issues. 2. Can walk to the kitchen, raid the fridge and the food is edible and hot. ( when heated obviously) 3. No queue for the loo and a dry floor usually. 4. Great view on the big tele 5. House is warm / chair is comfy 6. No phucker in front of me farting and moaning at the players 7. Home in time for 20p and the moaning Sh1!heads
When we are allowed back its going to be a difficult call to justify returning to an awful match day labour of love unless I can manage to get a Box through my firm maybe.

Plus I'm fairly confident (but not anymore) that I've sen 1.5k ST holders mentioned on the iFollow statistics?

I’ve been on public transport a couple of times recently and the attitude to mask wearing is Wee wee poor. People can’t be bothered by the looks of things. It can also suggest the rules aren’t able to stop the spread and transmission will occur anyway in the permitted contexts, such as schools, hospitals and supermarkets. I’ve seen most the data suggests the above contexts are the main sources of transmission. It’s tempting to want to blame someone for this pandemic, because it’s natural to want to find causality and much as with football managers, we prefer to direct this at people rather than to ascribe life’s misfortune to chance, as this suggests we aren’t driving the bus. As for masks, I would be highly surprised if poor adherence to mask wearing was a greater source of transmission than say, supermarkets. Hence it’s impossible to say how much of the pandemic is due to poor adherence to measures or the necessities of daily life. This does not, however, absolve people of their responsibilities. But it can provide a proportionate level of blame. It’s fairly unjust to lay the deaths and illnesses on the backs of people who are likely to have had a fairly small impact. However tempting it may seem to lay blame of 50,000 deaths on a small group of individuals who have chosen to act irresponsibly.
