Not being a league game so not included in season tickets and would have to pay about £18 anyway and £4.50 for bus fare and a couple of pints on top, maybe more if we win. think I might bite the bullet and pay the £25 Not as good as being there I know but can't see fan's attending games for a while now as the way things are going with this virus UTG

Just emailed Tom Gorringe about this and received an instant reply. The gist of it is this. As Premier league teams are in the FA Cup from the third round, ifollow is not allowed to broadcast games. It will be available on Bt sport and Five live.

I'm hoping that when the time rolls round, I can pick BT Sport 1, hit the red button and select the Rovers game. I looked up BT Sports 4 extra, and there's no such channel, you have to get it through the red button. I think.

If you do not have a SMART TV can you watch the RED button if viewed via the WEB if using a monthly pass? Last year got a months subscription to watch CHAMPS LEAGUE and it allowed one of us to watch on WEB and another, different house, to watch on PLAYSTATION under one subscription. Makes the £25 not so bad

Have to say never done this before but just tried it and you appear to be quite correct. Go to BT Sport 1 (Not 2,3 or Ultimate) click the red button & BT sport 4 extra Appears.

Is that via Virgin?

If we win , or if it is a high scoring game, I would expect it to feature as one of the main games on the BBC1 or 602 channel highlights round ups. To be fair it was quite a good draw, with a few chances for the underdogs. I can imagine a few nail biting penalty shoot out deciders. PS isn't the Blades mascot a pirate with a large cutlass?

I get BT Sport on Virgin Cable TV and have just done a test. BT Sport Extra came on via the red button (albeit not actually showing any sport). I am hopeful this will work come match day.

No it doesn't. Presume they can't show 15:00 kick offs.

Rovers website says it is available on there internationally. Presumably blocked for all but UK users.

According to Rovers tweet is being shown on several foreign TV stations including one of the ESPN's stations, I assume it'll therefore be streamed by the usual websites who show Premiership games.

Tbh I’m glad it ain’t on telly. I think folk may jes get used to all this live streamed footy an that might not be a good thing long term. Brian Clough said there was too much football on TV, and he was right

Although it does miss out all the Middle East countries, but I guess it'll also be on Bein Connect (which is a similar thing to BT Sports extra). I have the main Bein Sport channels but not connect. I have a few random football channels on my IPTV box so hopefully I can find it!

Back to the delightful radio Bristol for me 😤. You don’t get much commentary but you get some great weather updates!
