Ozzy could be off if someone buys him on a perm from Charlton. Thoughts?

Ozzy could be off if someone buys him on a perm from Charlton. Thoughts? I’d rather he stayed with us for the season but wouldn’t be devastated if he did get bought by someone else in January. In the long term I wouldn’t mind McCormick staying if it was a choice between the two but probably a bit unrealistic? I’d also like to see a path to a first team spot for Barrett which Ozthumer is blocking - hope he grasps it and stays off the pasties.

Has been linked with Robbie Fowler in India and Mick Mcarthey in Cyprus.

Ozzy could be off if someone buys him on a perm from Charlton. Thoughts? Not sure why anyone would want to pay a transfer free when he will be free in a few months when his contract expires. We cant even be sure how many more games he will get in especially as he has obviously been suffering from covid and may need more time off. From his viewpoint he would be able to negotiate a better signing on fee if he is a free agent. i think that this is Charlton just trying to stir things to get a fee.

kampuchheagas; Its all personal choice and I think you are being harsh on some. Personally I rate Ehmer and Baldwin as decent players at this standard and I would rate them above Kilgour and Harries. No matter how good or poor the left backs are the fact is you can't have four left backs in your squad! Can't really say I am over impressed with any of them but Koiki has potential as does Tutonda though both possibly as wide players rather than full backs so really would have to make a choice between the two as which was best..Personally I feel Barrett looks like there is a player in there rather than Hargreaves who I feel is Conference standard at best as is Kelly so would try to release both. Mehew I would keep on loan for the rest of this season and the same with Tomlinson as haven't seen enough to suggest they are good enough yet. We have Little, Hare and I would be looking to release both at the season end for different reasons. In midfield I would try to loan Liddle out and sign Oztumer and if possible McCormick.keep Grant,Westbrooke and try to extend Nicholsons contract NOW. Upson I would keep until the end of the season then release and the same with Rodman.I would keep the three strikers we have but try to get two more in. I see far more potential in most of the signings than you have given credit for but you are;like everyone else; entitled to your opinion. Can't argue with this. Good assessment (in my view of the squad). I think I'd want to keep tutonda and Koiki, so perhaps loan the former out. I would definitely not get rid of either of Liddle as there could be serious potential and we have been burnt before by letting players go too soon. The difficulty with the gk situation is that whoever comes in knows they'll be second fiddle as soon as jaakkola is fit which may put some off. Now Ayunga is fit, I'd like to see more of him asap Hi Goose and SteveK I agree with your views.... UTG J

Not going to help the “balance issue” but what do you think of Sheehan still? Not sure he signed a contract extension with Newport and not sure he wouldn’t want to come to us only 4 places above in the pyramid, but would seem a decent bottom of the diamond in my opinion.
Right back wise I think that right back from Carlisle (tanner) is doing pretty well in league 2 age 21
Thoughts ?

No chance of Stockley. My mate is a PNE fan and laughed when I made the suggestion. He is a big part of their plan B from the bench and highly valued there. We will be looking at a loan I would imagine, with targets being looked at in the summer. Don’t forget we still have Daly to return I hope we are looking at right back and perhaps a loan keeper if AJ is out for more than a month. It may be that footie is given a break if Covid cases continue to rise and that would put a whole new look on transfers. For me the biggest challenge is sorting out the defence. I said in a previous post I don’t rate our new centre backs, maybe a bit harsh but in my opinion we made poor signings and that is where we look weakest.UTG Given we've now scored the least goals in the league but are mid table for goals conceded how can you say that? Saturday's game was a good example of the issues PT faces, as for the whole of the first half we never looked like scoring, so as soon as MK scored just before half time it was virtually game over.

Matt Macey is a terrible keeper. Worst or no better than JVS.Joe Day would be a much better signing but may not want to come if Annsi is only out for say a month.

Is there any truth in this at all or is he just an easy target for a bit of mirth? Perhaps he's naturally stocky. Does anybody know?

Why would Matt Macey want to come to us after previous loan spells that he hardly impressed in. After all he is still under contract at Arsenal, picking up £520k a year as a third/fourth choice keeper and being set up nicely for an early retirement.

Regardless I'd sooner Ozt "block" Barrett than have to hope that an tried Championship youngster's good enough, and stays fit enough, to keep us up!

Saturday's game was a good example of the issues PT faces, as for the whole of the first half we never looked like scoring, so as soon as MK scored just before half time it was virtually game over. Topper I agree we look light up top but we sometimes had no striker on the bench! If we had as many strikers as left backs we might be doing better Our recruitment in my opinion has been really lopsided And even now can anyone say who is first choice in that defence? Our right side is so weak we now have our captain and centre back there. On the left? Leahy? Did we need Tutonda AND Koiki? I think our problems stem from one manager building a squad with wing backs and another manager perhaps not favouring that system so we look confused at the back. Good solid teams are built from the back and I just feel we are an easy target for teams who use the long ball. I hope to be proven wrong and that our back line becomes consistent but at the moment we seem to have tried every possible combination and still I couldn’t tell you the best player for each position! That tells me no one has stood out to make that spot their own.
