2 goals, 1 assist and a man of the match in the last three games.
Dropping him at this point would be objectively an insane decision.
That is all.

I've backed him massively, really like him, although I don't think you can blame some for being frustrated as although performances were good he just wasn't getting goals.
In the three games, he's been productive with goals and assists as well as his usual excellent overall play, there's not a chance in hell you could drop him at this moment. Hope it lasts.
As i've said many a time, if he was a sure finisher he wouldn't be anywhere near the conference, in fact he'd probably be above L2 level. His overall play has always been excellent even when he has missed chances. Great movement too.

First half tonight was his best performance so far this season. He looked so sharp and full of running. Well played Matty.

Agreed but there are some on here who can't seem to get over his poor goal tally up to this point and still claim he's useless even considering this current run of form. I'm just saying that it is bonkers to be calling for him to be dropped at this point.

How many has he got now 5 ? On his way to getting over double figures this season. With the fact that he's such a bloody good little player who offers so much more than goals id take that.

Think Blissett and him compliment each other really well. That matched with some good service from midfield tonight he looked a threat. Should have scored another at least though with the chances he had.

He shouldnt be in the team to be dropped. He is crap. Sorry tbone but he has earned us 5 points over the last 3 games, that earns him a spot in the team for me. Agree to disagree.

Noted. I have given myself an uppercut. If Matty can continue with a goal every other game, we are going to the big dance.

Cant be dropped for a while now, has taken a long time to find his feet but you can't question his quality in the last 3 games even if he has cost us a lot of points in other games. Sometimes it takes players a while and i hope he goes on to be a top player

It took Jason Roberts a year to settle.
People were saying Rickie Lambert was just a fat midfielder. Went on to play for England.
Matty Taylor has had a slow start in terms of goalscoring but he has shown plenty of quality elsewhere.
Maybe his goals will now start to come?
If so it'll be the sweetest humble pie I've had to date.
Good on you Matty lad.

Other then one poster it wasnt a case of people absolutely slating him just wanting him dropped for a poor goals to games ratio when we had other players who had not been tried out. He needs to keep scoring consistently now and push on.

Matty Taylor has been our best forward player all season. He is one of my favorite players by a long mile.
Can't defend his scoring record early doors but his all round game and work rate has been superb all season.
Glad he is finally adding goals to his game.
