Did I dream it or did this lad once come on as a sub, play about 10 mins and then get subbed off eventhough he clearly wasn't injured?

Yep, that’s how I remember it.

More recently Joe Anyinsah came on as a sub at Torquay and was so hopelessly disinterested he was subbed off about 20 minutes later.

Under Atkins I think. He left shortly after, unsurprisingly

Spot on. To realise his mistake in bringing him on was probably Ian Atkins best decision at Bristol Rovers. Cash was so obviously out of his depth.

March 2012, a very good day out. Came on in the 75minute for Matt Harold. Subbed off in the 90th minute for Eliot Richards. Harold and Zebroski scored for us, the latter with his best goal for us after running from our own area to slot the ball past their keeper from 12 yards or so in front of us. Unfortunately Lee Mansell and Rene Howe with a 90th minute equaliser spoiled the day!

His one and only appearance for Rovers and he went back to Ireland after according to Wikipedia. I also remember Tyler Lyttle, a young defender who made a surprise debut for Rovers at Orient in August 2015. He got subbed at half-time and has never played league football again.

Had forgotten that game. He was given a bit of a mauling by their attack as I remember. Playing in front of the away support so we had a good view unfortunately.

Wasn't his father quite a well-known Prem defender? Des Little seems to ring a distant. Bell.

I saw him for Rushall Olympic in October, had a good game and is a decent non-league player. It didn't work out for him at Rovers but he's gone on to have a good Non-League career.
