The CEO should should have a polite conversation with the manager and ask With an average of approximately one goal a game scored why dp we persist in starting with only one striker.

Id go back to basics.
Round pegs in round holes would be a good starting point.

Under gc we were bar room brawlers that feared no one and with bit of refinement over time could have been pillars of the the community. Now we have a squad that resembles afternoon tea at the vicarage where anyone who comes a knocking steals the scones without question or resistance. .

His response will be why did you let my predecessor go into the season with 4 left backs and only 1 recognised forward player. Especially having cashed in on a free scoring attacker in the summer.

How anyone can write Ayunga off after such a limited amount of time is beyond me. I'm not sure hes played a full 90 mins yet and is being eased back from injury but somehow hes already not good enough. He might not make it or might turn into a very decent league 1 player who knows but let's give the lad a chance.

Can you name the left backs? I have Kelly and Harries as left footed centre halves. Dave T and Koki as left wing backs Leahy as left back Where am I going wrong?

To be honest the present crop of players just aren’t up to the job. This is a very poor squad of players, and the only way this is going is down to league 2. Need something special to get this club back to winning ways. Everything is going against us. With COVID here for quite some time, things will get worse. Not everyone can watch games on iFollow so we need to read about the performances. And I even wonder if we will have a club to support the longer COVID is here and no money coming in. Makes me wonder if all this is the reason the players are playing so badly.

We can’t defend even with 6 defenders on the pitch, so I’d go back to a back four and playing midfielders in midfield instead of Baldwin: ____________Day Williams_Kilgour__Ehmer_Leahy Rodman_Ogogo__McCormick_Koiki _______Ayunga___Hanlan I agree with your team selection here. Maybe even bring Hargreaves in for a start? I also agree with everything original poster said. He needs to play the players I their right position, no excuses. How can he evaluate players performances if they're not in their natural position? At least if they play where they are supposed to and play bad then he knows that they are not good enough and can think to bring some else onto the starting 11 or try and get someone else in. Im not a fan of the way Tisdale says he is with the players and how he's so calm. You would think after 5 games without a win in his post patch interviews he would look seriously P*she'd off but he doesn't. I don't really know what I would do to be honest. Id definitely play the team that is above and I think I would be more ruthless with the players and drop some that aren't performing which is hard because no one is really playing well, but Baldwin, Grant, Leahy and Harries stick out for me. Giving the ball away, not tracking runners and drifting out of position. I don't know if anyway else has noticed but Baldwin has this habit of when he goes to clear a ball in the box it hits one of our/opposition players and just bounces around the penalty area quite often. We're all crying out for an experienced centre forward but, I don't think that's our main issue anymore. Rant over 😂

Alright Mary Prove me wrong if you like? Kelly is the LB. it even says so on the website. If you want to go into semantics about LB vs LWB then be my guest, but they’re all defenders that play on the left side meaning if one of them plays there, you cant put one of the other ones there. EG, you don’t put Leahy at LB and then Koiki and LWB, do you? So I’d say it’s pretty obvious how we have 4 LBs

LB is very different to LWB. Garner releases Holmes-Dennis abs signed Tutonda and koiki. So under your analogy last year we had 3 left backs and this year we have 4? Hardly the squad building crime of the century is it?

I'd love to see you pick a formantion where we play an LB & WLB in the same team so we had at least 3 players covering the LB/LWB role and how likely was Kelly ever going to play at LCB in a league game over Ehmer or Harries rather than at LB? Most of us could put a better balanced squad together than BG and we've got no experience of working in pro football.

You play 3, have 1 on the bench and 1 in the squad in case of injuries. Same as you play 1 LB / LWB and have 1 on the bench and one in the squad to cover injuries. We now have 3 RB / RWB in hare, little and George. So I assume you are very unhappy about this? Of course you aren’t. 1 in the team, 1 on the bench and 1 in the squad. The same people moaning about too many left backs can’t believe we only had 3 strikers in the squad plus Walker as development. At least be consistent.

Alright Mary Prove me wrong if you like? Not worth discussing when you’ve completely missed the point and ignored the attacking element. We can argue about who is or who isn’t a LB but the point remains we had one established attacking player going into this season. All the rest hadn’t played any or a significant number of hours at league level let alone scored goals. That’s signing up to relegation before the season even starts.
