That tomorrow the players in whatever formation they are set up give 100 % for the shirt of this great football club. I for one are fed up with the negativity. Up the gas! We are not expected to win, let's shock league 1. Let's not judge Tis until he has more of his own players.

Contrary to what many folk would like to believe. Players do give 100% every game. If they didn’t, they really wouldn’t have made th professional game IMO.
Sport isn’t like a normal job, th opposition make it hard.

They probably give more effort than we give them credit for, but many a time players don’t bother to make a run or close their man down as much as they could. As an example, look back on Sheffield United and then Oxford. Was the same level of effort there?

I doubt they do or you wouldn't get the new manager bounce whenever a new manager is appointed, although I assume the OP really means giving the impression that they are giving 100% not around 75% like they did on Saturday.

I hope we go for a back four tomorrow , fullbacks have got to try and stop the crosses for JCH . I also would like to see us be more attacking, i would rather go down having a go as we can't defend and get a result.

Most at this level do enough to earn a living only the exceptional ones go beyond and do their best for themselves and team.

Hauled off by his ear. There are also examples like Assou-Ekotto who was pretty open that football was just a job to him and he had no inherent love of the game. Not that that should stop him running through walls for his club but it must be hard to motivate himself to push himself through the range of physical endurance when he doesn’t feel strongly connected to what he is doing.

The point was that the players gave more effort Vs Sheffield Utd, than they did against Oxford. Whether one is in the prem or not is irrelevant, it proves that players can give more effort when needed/they really want it.

Look a different team with half fit Nico and Oz.

I think that at our level players are consistently inconsistent and my point was that that players in the top divisions are more consistent in their good performances
