Speaking of negativity this morning, I think the club are lucky there'll be no fans in attendance for a few matches.

Nothing to be positive about. Tisdale is just another complete waste of space along with TW. Boring football and doesnt even know what formation to play. I thought he was the right man for the job but was worried when he kept saying he only been here 21 days and suchlike. You may as well say he has done absolutely nothing in this January window as we have signed another full back when we already had about six and a goalkeeper who in all honesty at times looks little better than JVS and I would question whether JVS might be the better keeper. I have been thinking what this site would have been like if JVS had let in that corner the other week or either of the goals on Saturday! Apart from that we are playing like a team with no direction and getting nearer and nearer the bottom four and this window has p-roved to me that the people at the top of our club don't care less. I’d actually be tempted to give JVS a start. Only going by the commentary but it doesn’t sound like day is having a material effect on the game. You never hear “what a save!”, it’s either a routine stop or a goal. JVS was actually in good form when Day came in. He’s capable of a howler but he’s also played above himself at times as well. Steady keeper vs an erratic one who can be good or sh** depending on the weather. Maybe it’s swings and roundabouts? Watch the game on ifollow and you'll soon realise why Day is picked ahead of JVS. I'm struggling to blame Day for any of the goals conceded, he has made some fantastic stops and his distribution and communication is better than Jordi's. If you are only listening to the commentary, you're not getting half the information. If you only listened to the commentary against Peterborough, for example, you would swear we were constantly under the cosh and lucky not to survive a spanking, when we were dominant for much of the game and had many of the better chances. I've concluded that radio commentators pick a narrative early on and stick to it despite the evidence in front of their eyes. Until live streaming they could get away with it, but the game is very different when you've got the evidence in front of your eyes.

Because we we’re already low on strikers and we’ve failed to add to them despite a serious lack of goals, whilst everyone around us are investing to avoid relegation. We seem to be accepting it. But it’s not like we didn’t try???

Speaking of negativity this morning, I think the club are lucky there'll be no fans in attendance for a few matches. Maybe that's the issue. At the Mem the fans give you a chance, but if you don't play for the shirt and the football quality drops the fans let you know and it's not a nice place to be a player/manager. At this moment in time, they are getting away with it and I think things would be different if fans were allowed in.

Somebody needs to make a statement to the fans today. And a video, show of face, not a typed up presser

The only advantage with the clubs lack of activity in the transfer market is the new manager will have some budget n the summer to build a squad

Bigger things happening in the world right now.

Unlike the OP i do understand why people feel so negative about the club but i agree that we should all try to 'look for the positives' that are undoubtedly there. Like he says the situation is not hopeless, we are not cast adrift at the bottom, and the team has on occasion turned in some very good performances ,albeit not on a consistent basis. It makes a change to read something positive on here these days and the OP has come in for plenty of flak for daring to do so but i would rather read positive threads than constant moans about the manager , players and what's more incredible, posts that say we have 'owner who does not care'! i could go on and on and 'moan' about the 'moaners' but that would class me as a 'moaner' but as i am a 'rose tinter' and not a 'moaner' by nature , i will leave the 'moaning' to the moaners and give you all a hearty UP THE ROVERS' instead!

When we're in the conference next season. I'm pretty sure clubs are predominantly supported by supporters. And a club who doesn't have the support of supporters sounds like a bad situation. I think the main point I'm making, is that we're a club in trouble, whilst in a reasonably better shape financially and logistically than many other in our league, who have all managed to sign 3 or 4 forwards (Charlton got 4 through the door). We've been losing games on the bounce, play asymmetric tactics, and have been short of a strike force for at least 2 windows. So yes, I would argue we deserve an explanation.. somebody has some explaining to do.

Well i think you are expecting too much. if you need to go online and vent then you must consider yourself very lucky. You must have nothing else to worry about. Sorry but i find this whole situation a bit sad really. people criticise clubs for going into debt then moan like a bunch of Crows when they don't spend money.

Is expecting the team you support, who have more left backs than forwards, and losing matches, to sign a forward when on the edge of a relegation battle, expecting too much? And anyway, this is, of course, the place to moan. Non?

We all want the same thing but can people not just except that maybe the only room in the budget for a permanent was spent on George Williams and we will now maybe go for a loan?>

Some fair points, but people on here who have watched the game have said what I’ve concluded about Day just from the commentary, so I don’t think it’s too wide of the mark although it seems there is an issue with things like the Peterborough commentary which described some chances for JCH that apparently didn’t actually happen.

True say though, think I need some coffee and have a bit of trust in our players! 🤞🤞🤞
