We are pathetic.

Heart and soul was gone sacking DC imo. We’ve never been the same since and I’ve totally lost any connection towards the club. Compound that with letting Clarke Craig etc go. I just don’t have any connection with the club anymore, only players I remotely like are Kilgour and Jaakkola, Hanlan at a push because he’s our only hope Totally agree , Hasn’t felt the same ( for me ) since DC and most of his squad were disassembled. Too hasty in my opinion , like I said before many times , I think he could of turned the fortunes of the club around and to be honest if he didn’t , I would of accepted relegation with him solely down to the fact that if it wasn’t for DC and that conference play off winning squad , we’d probably not have a team to be moaning about tonight ! DC = LEGEND !!!!!!! I agree. I would have taken going back down to L2 with DC as he saved us and loved our club. And I think he would have taken us back up! This situation is an odd one.First off we are sh**,and I think its as bad of a collection of players that we have had at our club since Mansfield 2014 - attitude wise...maybe not talent. Who's to blame..? I go with BG and Wael. First, no doubt we are better off with Wael as our owner than not.And Ive no doubt that he wants and is trying his best for BRFC.But he has made some major mistakes, just like Pantsdown did in his early years over Ashton. First is getting rid of DC to early and then appointing a guy with no experience in football ( you get to stats and figures and its true) in BG. I like the long term BG vision, and I hope we can continue this long term.EG: having a plan like Swansea,Brentford,Bournemouth and dare I say BRISTOL CITY to some degree in terms of progress and selling players for profit. But BG was a football manager wannabe and was our worst manager EVER!! Wael's mistake was giving a rookie,a clueless one at that... his full trust to rebuild a squad that was 4th in L1 when BG took over. Ok, we've signed some decent talented players..for the furture that is,but the core of this side is not good enough and I feel will take us down to L2 again, regardless off whom is in charge! To lose to AS 6-1 is a disgrace..The core of this problem is the players personal pride and attitude. They have been a disgrace all season and could well have cost a 2nd person his job tonight. I feel sorry for PT. Ok he has made mistakes, and clearly has not improve our situation be it with results and transfers, but I said it after saturdays result and his post match interview, and I just watched tonights and he looks like a broken man thinking WTF have I done!!.. Ive just f**ked up my managerial career by taking this job on!! For me we are down,as I cant see anyone saving us with this awlful group of players we have and the windows passed. For PT's own sake I hope he walks...

I hope he walks and he should 100% call out all the player for how bad they have been.
I do think PT has been let down mainly by players who have downed tools and have so little pride and commitment. He had a battle from day one, i wanted him to turn our season round but it doesn't look like that will ever happen. Right now it is not working out for him.
A couple scenarios; PT walks, or he continues and we accept going down and clear out in the summer or we get someone else in now who is going to wake up the players and he a go until the end of the season.

Is a cultural style of football a thing? Honestly, this tip tap passing football will never work at Rovers. It hasn't in my life time, anyway. Just give me basic route 1 football with every player giving 100%. Anything is possible if you have the right people. We need to learn from Accrington- they managed to assemble a killer team on a shoe string, we’ve been trying since Garner arrived to do what they are doing and we are as far away from achieving than when we started. Not saying it’s easy, but it will never happen at all with the way that we go about things.

I have been a fan of Tisdale but the chopping and changing of formations and tactics lately has been a total mystery, and its giving the players no time to settle into any sort of rhythm. They are underperforming massively, but what's worst is the lack of organisation, we look a total shambles.
Tisdale if he stays in a job, has to stop the constant changes from game to game, and bring things back to absolute football-for-dummies.
Tonight reminded me of the Brazil 1-7 Germany when it looked like a professional side playing a bunch of drunk hobos. Accy looked like they would score every time they came forward, and that wasn't through any great movement and skill, although they are a good side. It was down to us looking like headless chickens.

Mr TDale makes me laugh a bit.
Every interview lately, mentions we must start doing the basics. However his management approach seems far from sticking to the basics!
Maybe stop believing your own hype, and perhaps practice a little of what you preach, o’wise one?

GC was the person who kept us in this division DC would have relegated us if he hadn't walked. DC was a good non league and League 2 Manager but was lost in League 1 as he just didnt have the know how or knowledge of players required at that level. DC is the past- we must stick with PT because the window is now closed.

We've seen enough relegation seasons and excuses made to recognise we have been in one for some time now.
It's obvious the underperforming diva players have no motivation to perform. They can sit on their contracts with little regard for anything around them, and safe in the knowledge there is little consequence.
No one can make excuses for last night's performance and PT looks resigned to churning the same old lines post match until it changes. I like how he's showed honesty and humility, but shambles from bottom certainly, but from the top? I'm not sure. It appears that players are holding him to ransom and just not performing or getting their shirts dirty. It's very hard to stop a sinking ship and I'm not sure PT has that kind of experience.
I would start by asking Mr Captain what's going on? And looking to bring wholesale changes, because losing by fine margins is one thing, capitulation on 17 mins and humiliation after 90 is another..

DC is the past- we must stick with PT because the window is now closed. Why must we stick with him if he's done something Penny style to lose the dressing room, we may as well cut our losses now and see if somebody internally can turn things around. Although PT's not been helped by losing most of the senior players he had at his disposal, Jaakola, Ogogo and Upson, plus the failure to bring in an experienced striker.

The board have been a mess since DC left...it was widely documented he was having arguments with the board before his departure which obviously affected him badly.
GC had battled his way to 4th and left just before the transfer window...what’s the chances he gave his list of players and Widdrington referred him to his list of Barrett and Abraham etc?!
Garner was not everyone’s cup of tea but he lost only 1 in 7 games in October. Had a 40% win rate in his last 10 games and PPG in his last 8 was 1.38. What sort of board sacks a manager when at that point?!
Now Tisdale sounds like a broken man, no pre match presser, Starnes and Widdrington have gone into hiding and the players aren’t playing for him.
At no point under DC, GC or BG did the players give up like they did from the start yesterday.
The board take full responsibility. Sacking managers hasn’t worked maybe it’s time to sack the board and start again!

Will that be enough to stay up? 23 pts currently plus 29 = 52, which should be enough 538 is currently predicting 45 points will be enough. I think that's a bit low, but I don't think it will be as high as 52.

This is the same bunch of players that gave a pretty strong Sheff Utd line up a good game just a short while ago - a Sheff Utd team that has gone on to win 3 of 5 Premier League games, including beating Manu U. They clearly didn't want to be there last night, and put up a disgraceful performance. There are (some) good players in that squad - but - Ehmer is, imho, the main reason for our poor performances when they happen. The man isn't a Captain and is barely a Centre Half on the majority of the showings this season. If the Captain is wandering around, not putting in the effort, and not helping the younger players around him then that quickly influences the whole team/squad.
There has to be a few home truths spoken today. Something needs to be done to tell the squad what it is to be Gas and what that quartered shirt means.
Ehmer has to be dropped and the captaincy given to either Kilgour or Baldwin. TW has to work doubly hard to find a couple of out of contract experienced players that can come in and do a no nonsense job - a battling midfielder would be my priority. A striker would be nice - but if we can stop the nonsense at the back, firm up the midfield, and if our current strikers and flair players stay fit, we have goals in the team
