Struggling to put into words the complete disillusionment and anger that I feel towards the football club right now. That performance was up there with one of the worst that I have seen supporting Rovers, especially from a defensive point of view. No offence to Accrington Stanley, they are a fantastic football club who are run ever so well but that was just humiliating.
Ehmer made two very costly mistakes that led to goals and looked like he couldn’t be bothered all night. Kilgour was chasing shadows. Grant had a complete shocker, Joe Day could of done better with at least a couple of the goals. Sam Nicholson was probably the only player who comes out of that with any credit.
The worst thing is, this lack of desire and ability hasn’t just been apparent tonight but it has been on show all season. We’re simply not good enough at either end of the field and for the first time since we were promoted to League One in 2016, I genuinely don’t see a way back for us unless we make changes in a major way.
I never thought I’d be saying this but I think we are worse now than when Garner was in charge. The players heads are down and this constant chopping and changing of players and formations isn’t helping. Tisdale was brought into improve us, but aside from the Wimbledon away performance, I haven’t seen one improvement in the way we play or the results we’ve picked up.
We were crying out for a striker in January, we didn’t get one in despite everyone around us making additions and now we’re stuck with three strikers that have never reached a double figure goal tally in the EFL in their careers. The way things our going, we’re going to end up regretting the decision not to bring anyone in on deadline day big time.
Just fed up of it now.

We’d not be doing much better if Garner was still here. This trajectory started with Garner’s appointment and his decision to decimate the squad of all its steel and experience. It’s Garnerball that’s got us into this mess and we don’t have the personnel in the squad to get out of it.
We need a team of scrappers who will give everything not to lose, if we are to have any chance of staying up. We don’t have that. Whether Tisdale stays or goes isn’t going to change that now. It’s too late. We’re done.

We’ve never been the same since and I’ve totally lost any connection towards the club. Compound that with letting Clarke Craig etc go. I just don’t have any connection with the club anymore, only players I remotely like are Kilgour and Jaakkola, Hanlan at a push because he’s our only hope

I dont like overly corporate people, they are mostly selfish liars imo. Heart, honesty and balls all day long.

Is a cultural style of football a thing?
Honestly, this tip tap passing football will never work at Rovers. It hasn't in my life time, anyway.
Just give me basic route 1 football with every player giving 100%.

The club is so totally devoid of any ambition.Look at the players, the ground with its' tented 'Stands',the lack of any meaningful transfer window. No leadership,no money it seems and no wins for a long time with a total lack of any quality with no rays of hope anywhere apart from the training complex. My worst emotions since Mansfield knocked us into Non League wearing our shirts.

Hard to put a finger on it as individually theses are good players, Ehmer, Gillingham stalwart and captain Kilgour a rock in seasons past Leahy and Williams loads of L1 experience Grant part of Plymouth’s promotion team in the same position Westbrooke part of a promoted Coventry team Nicholson is class, oztumer again lots of quality The only real inexperienced ones are McCormick, Hanlan and Daly Why can’t they perform as a team, is it all the different formations causing confusion? Can’t figure it out

Too hasty in my opinion , like I said before many times , I think he could of turned the fortunes of the club around and to be honest if he didn’t , I would of accepted relegation with him solely down to the fact that if it wasn’t for DC and that conference play off winning squad , we’d probably not have a team to be moaning about tonight ! DC = LEGEND !!!!!!!

I wonder if Eddie Howe fancies a challenge? Well that ain’t gonna happen = but Ollie would be the obvious choice until the end of the season.
Tisdale should do the honourable and just resign and walk away.
Too many passengers in this team ........ I can’t remember a defence so badly marshalled . What do they do training? Fannying around by the look of it.

Players ratings from Bristol Post says it all. Joe Day - 2
The second goal was hit centrally, but with great power. Far too indecisive for the third, making a half-baked effort to come off his line to sweep up and Charles stole in. Looked shaky all night.
George Williams - 3
One of the better performers in defence, but wasted a big chance to give Rovers a glimmer of hope on the verge of half time.
Max Ehmer (c) - 2
A nightmare evening. The skipper couldn't contain Colby Bishop before he crossed for the opener, was skinned by Dion Charles for the second and let the ball bounce for the third.
Alfie Kilgour - 2
He and his defensive partners allowed long balls to bounce far too often and the Gas got what they deserved.
Luke Leahy - 2
Struggled in defence, struggled in attack.
Josh Grant - 2
"Suicidal defending" was the verdict of Brett Ormerod in the commentator's position behind the press bench for one of Grant's indecisive moments. Overpowered throughout.
Zain Westbrooke - 3
Better than most. Unlucky not to score, with Nathan Baxter repelling him with two fine saves.
Luke McCormick - 2
Failed to make any meaningful impression in either direction.
Erhun Oztumer - 2
Nearly anonymous and gave the ball away almost every time he touched it. Taken off at half time.
Sam Nicholson - 6
Pounced on a mistake to score an equaliser. Perhaps the only man in the starting XI to escape without criticism.
Brandon Hanlan - 3
Missed a clear chance to pull one back with head head on the verge of half time and he was hooked at the break.

From the start I felt Tisdale was a poor appointment and have said so. I have said that he was bang average and he’s failed to live up to that description.
That however isn’t his fault. He’s a good bloke I’m sure and he knows what it takes to put together a decent fourth division side. I couldn’t blame him for signing a two and half year contract. I bet he was signing before the ink had had chance to dry.
The problem is having people like Starnes at the club. This is a man that is making Steve Hamer look like Jeff Bezos. It’s time for Wael to rid himself of these hangers on. He knows what he wants and he now needs to go with his gut feeling and have a complete clearout

That was the worst Rovers performance I can remember. We’ve had poor players before, but the lack of effort and fight for the cause was what angered me the most tonight. Ehmer is as bad as anything I have seen in a Rovers’ shirt. He must be a different player than the one who turned out for Gillingham or he just cannot be bothered. A poster asked the question yesterday - why the negativity? Accrington Stanley 6-1 Rovers. That’s why.
