Bristol Rovers vs. Swindon Town
Summary
So far they have played a back four in majority of their league matches but similar to us haven't really settled on a formation and stuck to it. Most popular for them has been 4-2-3-1. The most recent formation was 4-1-4-1. Apart from us they had the 2nd worse ranked transfer window according to D3D4football.com:https://d3d4football.com/ranked-every-league-one-clubs-january-transfer-business-2021/
They lost key loan players which went to their rivals and they sold two of their main assets. Matt Smith and Diallang Jaiyesimi when to Charlton and Kieron Freeman got sold to Swansea.
Top Goal scorers for them areJaiyesimi, Pitman, Hope and Smith with 4 each

So we have Tommy W in charge for the Swindon game at least. His last match as manager saw Rovers progress in the Papa Johns after beating Chelsea U21's 4-3 in an end to end match at the Mem. The formation that day was 5-3-2 with JvS in goal, a back three of Kilgour, Ehmer and Harries, Wingbacks in the shape of Hare and Tutonda, Midfield three of Grant, Upson and Nicholson and two up front in Hanlan and Daly. If he wanted to play that way again with those players then the only one unavailable is likely to be Upson although I think that he was returning to training this week so you never know. That game itself showed us that this team is capable of attacking football although we were very exposed at the back. On the day Goals from Hanlan and Nicholson, a free kick from Westbrooke and a last minute headed goal for Hare capped quite an entertaining evening. Stats wise... Chelsea boasted possession stats of 67% with both teams creating 9 shots on target. We made 258 total passes to their 566 so its safe to say that it was a case of getting it into the final third and focus on getting attempts on goal. We also had 7 corners that match, which if we can return the attacking set piece form of recent weeks could well be another avenue of goals for us. That game also saw 27 crosses going forward, along with 11 interceptions, 17 clearances in defense and 6 saves for JvS. If I recall, it was edge of your seat stuff.
Swindon are there for the taking. We should have enough about us with enough of our key players fit and raring to go, to really bang Swindon out. I expect us to come out fighting and get goals. TW will know every player in our squad and will hopefully fire them up. Swindon have lost key players and the fanbase is not confident at all. I am going for a convincing Rovers win with a soft goal as we do love to concede them. 4-1 to the Gas
