Just interested to see people's thoughts.
I think it will be;
Other investors in part ownership New stadium being built Mid table L1
And gone through 2 more managers

Until I’m sat in a new stadium I’ll continue to assume it’s never happening

Given that in the time that China has industrialised from an agricultural economy and is now moving towards a service driven economy with a larger middle class in the same time a medium sized football club with enough supporters for a bigger stadium can only come up with drawings, I have no hope of any stadium.
Too many nimbys, Bristol is full of rich lefties who hate football and building things, unless they are built far, far away from their neighbourhoods....never going to happen.
Perhaps we might get a stadium away in knowle west or Southmead on the remaining patch of green. They won’t care about that. Anything not in those kind of sites, it would have to include a cycling track, grass on the roof, totally solar powered and a multi faith centre along with some social housing. The plans would need to repeat the word “sustainable” many times and feature pictures of green fields a lot.

There's only so long we can keep getting decent crowds with such shambolic facilities.

I put L1 with Stad progressing (as did most people so far). Are we weirdly optimistic of just Dam stupid?

If it's a 5 year timeframe then we are at a fork in the road moment in my opinion, one way leads to further stagnation so mid table L1 is probably our limit, the other is a new stadium and sustainable Championship football. The longer we wait, the further behind we get and the more expensive it will be to catch up. Give it 5 years and Championship football will be as out of reach as the Premiership is today.
I genuinely don't know if Wael has an 'Ace up his Sleeve' or not, if he does then 2021 is when he needs to play it.

We will be in the same position which we are now or maybe in league 2 with more tents erected.

5 years ago were on course for promotion to League One with DC looking likely to become the greatest ever manager in Rovers’ history. 5 years on, I would say we have a weaker squad, an increasingly fractured fan base and our stadium has 5 more years worth of dirt and rust. Oh, and no manager either.
In 5 years from now, I’d be staggered if we have made any progress. Whilst we tread water, stuck in about 1993, clubs like Wimbledon have died, been reborn, built a new stadium and overtaken us in the league.
I’ve always said I’d believe in a new stadium when sat in it and that seems as far away as it was 25 years ago when we moved back to Bristol.

I've voted for L1 w/o a new stadium.
I have become very cynical as have most Gasheads regarding the stadium situation, and I don't see us being any closer to that in 10 years, let alone 5. I hope I can look back on this post though and realise I was too pessimistic.
Our league position I think will stay roughly the same. I actually would cautiously predict us to go down to L2 and come back up again in that time. Strangely that might be what we need in order to become rejuvenated again. I certainly wouldn't risk that though if given the choice.

Our promotions in 2007 and 2016 from league two were both built on an incredible team spirit and unity, along with some very good talent (Lambert, Taylor, Bodin). History teaches us that to get out of league two is very, very difficult.

I just hope that with the training ground and Wael's backing, we would be capable of returning to L1 quicker than the last time we were relegated from it. Certainly not a guarantee by any stretch, so we absolutely need to do all we can to stay up this season.

I think Championship with new stadium. So can’t vote
If we don’t get a new stadium pronto this club will die.
