Oztumer was a cracking player. Emphasis on the word "was". Charlton were happy to loan him out and to be honest his displays for us have been largely underwhelming. That's disappointing to read. I envied Charlton when they got him and was surprised he was loaned out to you. He's not even thirty yet and as far as I'm aware he hasn't suffered one of those career damaging injuries that happen to so many. Let's hope Joey Barton can help him return to the player who always seemed to be making or scoring goals for Posh or The Saddlers on the EFL highlights show. I wouldn't get too disappointed yet. Oz will still have a role to play for us this season - whether from the bench or in the starting line up.

If you play the high press game then you need to be fit and it's also not his style. Certainly would be difficult to play him and Westbrooke in the same team.

To give a bit of optimism Joey B's Fleetwood best Hull 4-1 in the league and he will know all about captain Lewie Coyle from his time at Fleetwood.

If joey is going to build some underdog spirit in the team then this one will be a good place to build that.
Always optimistic with the gas but neither our gk, defence, midfield or upfront are anything to right home about at the moment, weak throughout.

Best of luck tomorrow at Hull a point would be a good result . If you can average a point a game until the end of the season you should be alright though it will be tight . Wimbledon look your biggest danger hopefully they get turned over at Blackpool.

Grover think you are very detrimental to the qualities in our team but are entitled to your opinion.IMO we have some quality players and in the three games under Barton have given a good account of ourselves in most departments. We have managed to restrict the opponents to very few shots whilst having a very large number of shots ourselves and some of the football we have played has belied our position in the league. We will struggle to0 overcome the goalscoring aspect which I am sure if we had JCH or someone similar would have seen us get 9 points from those three games. Had we remained with 11 players on Tuesday I feel we would have won that game too. To say we are weak throughout though is nonsence.

The Burton game looked like it could have been a repeat of the Gillingham game, where we should have gone in at half-time at least 1-0 up but failed to take our chances. Not sure why posters say it's a game we would have won, given how few away games we have won recently.
Whilst JB seems to be concentrating on the sending off he really needs to address why Nicholson etc missed easy chances and why we wasted so many free kicks on the edge of the box, Leahy's never going to score just blasting free kicks into the defensive wall.
What I can't understand is wjy always look so poor with 10 men, once we lose a player it's effectively game over.

Home win, especially If G73NSOB falls asleep in the armchair with his hand on his c0ck again. Looks like Jocks lucky plate may also be MIA.

Couldn't agree more, the missed chances and poor quality set pieces in really good positions were what cost us that game without doubt! We could have been one or two up on chances at half time, I think it unlikely Burton would have come back from a two goal deficit even if we had gone down to ten.

If Upson plays we will lose ... Never involved, can’t be bothered to tackle and passes are awful.
Hopefully he is left out ...
I have a feeling we might do well ... time for Daly / Ayunga to shine and if Zain Walker gets his chance I back him to be the talk of the forum come Saturday night.
UTG !
