Can’t lie I was waiting for him to score so I could say it was Jonah and the Wael and pull out the song Tonight’s the kind of night Shame they don`t share a house. You could have had, "Jonah, he lived with a Wael....."

If we are going to play only one up top then is has to be him. His ball control is not perfect, but its far better than Hanlans and he brought so many other into play last night. He is young and there is a lot to work with. He is probably a coaches dream turning a raw non league striker with potential into a decent league one striker. It’s not so much the control, it’s because he’s big and he can’t be knocked off the ball. I’d sooner see Max Ehmer play that role than Hanlan. One guy on his own has to be either big, or Berbatov level of control. In this league, the lack of Berbatovs means you are left with big. Most of our best teams had a large fellow playing here. White, John Taylor, Gareth Taylor, Beadle, Walker, Lambert, later Ellis Harrison. Even The Snake, who let’s face it, was our best striker since Lambert, wasn’t played on his own. Forgot Barry hayles he was strong as on ox

He has improved a lot since we first saw him. His touch and control are definately better. Still a way to go yet.

His drop of the shoulder and shot which hit the post was first class... exciting prospect just needs to keep working hard and leaning the professional game as quickly as he can and he can flourish under Barton and with Mangan’s coaching.

Wella, wella, wella, Huh! Tell me more, tell me more, can he score us some goals? Tell me more, tell me more, yeah but not in the hole.
Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga. Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga, Ay-un-ga.
