Amazing performance from the big man, unlucky not to score a rough diamond that the firm can polish! Think we can stay up if we replicate this until the end of the season. Rochdale Wimbledon Northampton and swindle to go down UTG

Can’t lie I was waiting for him to score so I could say it was Jonah and the Wael and pull out the song Tonight’s the kind of night

Rochdale Wimbledon Northampton and swindle to go down UTG Definitely my man of the match. Awsome performance from Johan. He has to start over Hanlan in the next match. Rodman follows very very closely as MoM. Great team performance and how about Leahy is he now top scorer?

Rochdale Wimbledon Northampton and swindle to go down UTG Hes fully fit now and a fully fit Jonah needs to start each week from now until the end of the season providing this run of form from him continues. Hanlon and I've said many time needs to play off a strike partner like him and although tonight everything clicked I think we could do with playing the two up front together with Daly deployed as the striker sub due to his long injury layoff.

I remember after his league debut there were plenty writing him off. He’s tall , strong makes a nuisance of himself , got quick feet for a big lad and can hit a powershot with both feet. Considering this is his first professional season I think he’s done very well.
Only some good goalkeeping kept him from adding to his tally tonight. Well done Jonah UTG

He's a breath of fresh air up front. Skillful, powerful, direct, and shoots with venom. He could be a cracking striker for us. Has to start again on Saturday.

Great, so you'd drop one of the two goal scorers tonight, Rodders or Nicko, just to play Hanlan?

I must admit to not rating him highly but after tonights performance I see we have the makings of a decent CF on our books. However credit must go to Job's coaching team and not the knob who signed him

Bar injury and form, that now needs to be the 1st team/starting lineup imo.

If we are going to play only one up top then is has to be him. His ball control is not perfect, but its far better than Hanlans and he brought so many other into play last night. He is young and there is a lot to work with. He is probably a coaches dream turning a raw non league striker with potential into a decent league one striker.

He is young and there is a lot to work with. He is probably a coaches dream turning a raw non league striker with potential into a decent league one striker. It’s not so much the control, it’s because he’s big and he can’t be knocked off the ball. I’d sooner see Max Ehmer play that role than Hanlan. One guy on his own has to be either big, or Berbatov level of control. In this league, the lack of Berbatovs means you are left with big. Most of our best teams had a large fellow playing here. White, John Taylor, Gareth Taylor, Beadle, Walker, Lambert, later Ellis Harrison. Even The Snake, who let’s face it, was our best striker since Lambert, wasn’t played on his own.
