Of course it's relevant to Rovers. The FA will be watching very closely to see how this is received, how they get on, and how it affects them stockpiling players.
I fear that we're slipping towards B Teams in the EFL, with how some fans (I'm not doing this argument again) waved them into our EFL Trophy by supporting the amended competition.
I know it works ok in some other countries like Spain and Germany, but I would absolutely detest it over here.

I know it works ok in some other countries like Spain and Germany, but I would absolutely detest it over here. That's mainly because it's been part of the system for decades. The introduction of B sides in other countries hasn't exactly gone that well. As an example Juventus II now play in Serie C Group A, they've hardly set the world alight finishing exactly half way last season and the club is looking at potentially pulling them from the league. I don't see the benefit for the players, the league or the clubs. Worth noting that "B Teams" in the likes of Spain and Germany are not u23 models either...

Do they (that you know of) get any go and watch? I can't see the appeal for either set of fans.

Strange -- But i reckon they'd get a near on full house when they play each other.

And i would'nt pay to watch Rovers play Rangers or Celtic B or Man Utd or Man City B. But the Scots are mental and I'm sure a Celtic B versus a Rangers B in Glasgow would be a sell out.
