Joey is now the 3rd manager that can't get a tune out of these players. The bloke can only work with what he has. We as fans and the board need to back him fully whether we are in L1 or L2 next season. When we are in L2 next season, I won't be backing Barton. Who knows who he'll be managing then, but it won't be us.

Joey is now the 3rd manager that can't get a tune out of these players. None of these players are his. The officiating since Barton has took over has been awful. We lack leadership and a proven goalscorer. The bloke can only work with what he has. We as fans and the board need to back him fully whether we are in L1 or L2 next season. Blaming the tools ... They are complete tools

Tisdale got a lot of flack and Barton hasn’t improved things, He was the Messiah, he’s nine games to do it now. Difference is Tisdale had the whole of January to sign a Striker, we needed one desperately. Then post match publicly slammed his players saying he was not a magician. He publicly admitted he was not up to the job that he faced. He made himself easy to sack. But wasn’t that interview due his frustration at the clubs inability to land a striker and this seemed to be confirmed in an interview with Tommy W. I was not against Barton being appointed, however I’m not taken in by this over the top adulation he seems to be receiving just because he is a bit of a celebrity. How many of our managers will have flags made with their face on after about 2 games? He’s talking a good game, but is not getting any more out of this squad than the predecessors.A lot of work to do.

Problem is you can't make non scorers score, Ayunga had an easy chance tonight and missed, Hanlan drifted offside and led to Westbrook goal being disallowed. Unlike Garner last summer I'd let Barton rebuild the squad this summer, after all if h left then what joker would we get in to replace him anyway.

My opinion is that Barton would have made a better fist of it (pardon the pun) in January. What the f uck was our transfer business all about and who was responsible for not signing someone to lead the line? We all know the summer transfer window was a shambles but not rectifying it to some extent in January is criminal. When other teams around us desperately tried to bolster their squads, we sat on our hands. The recruitment is why we are going down.

Our recruitment in the summer wasn't good enough, but to then not rectify that in January is negligent. Heads should roll.

This is the conversation Barton needs to have with owner. We must remember most of the side will be gone . I can't see the budget being anything but very average . This changes the all vision of the stadium build and crowds will be much lower . During the match it was said Wael was present. In his aftermatch interview JB said he'd just spoken to him. So presumably they've had that conversation. Or a conversation.

Joey touched on this in his interview on twitter (not sure if it’s anywhere else). Hopefully his ‘chat’ with Wael centred around one man, and one man only

Another DC in the making. 100% Agree he’s the first gaffer we’ve had in a long time that knows anything about daily professional standards and playing at the highest level I get the sense he’s in Waels ear he said on Radio Bristol they are here for the big reset think that’s code for screw Garner and his naive dreaming, this is what it will take Wael ...

Can I find the interview anywhere? Thanks Pirate. To be honest I am glad to hear that they spoke after the game. Surely Wael can see the same as the rest of us that majority of the players have simply not been good enough. Unfortunately they are likely to relegate us this season. We need to rebuild and put right the obviously poor professionalism that the club seem to be struggling with. I've accepted we are likely down, so the sooner this season is done the better.
