Maybe the fact that pretty much everyone has written them off, it could ease pressure and we see some results? I think we all know I'm clutching at straws but what the hell right? Bags you are right sir, no one gives them a hope, the fact we cannot score is so worrying but not enough for us to get a deal done in the window for a striker. Might as well go for it every game now draws ain't good enough

Any Gashead still clinging onto any kind of hope, will have it torn from within them this coming Saturday. Rampant Sunderland will score at least four goals without reply.

Good post , it aint over yet , remember that win at Wycombe and we all thought we had cracked it ! Swindon will be patting themselves on the back and thinking they have cracked it but lets wait and see.

I am holding hope that playing against the better teams could be a good thing atleast they will attack us leaving space for us to counter.
I just want to see some fight yes things are going against us ATM but I really hope we don't go down without a fight.

looking forward to a good weekend break in torquay next season! Doubt it, Torquay have blown it big time, had 13 point lead at one time , now trailing.

looking forward to a good weekend break in torquay next season! It'll be a nice weekend break in Sutton which somehow doesnt quite sugar the bitter pill of relegation

We'll finish bottom. And we deserve to.
Sorry to say it, but there it is.
We have very, very few goals throughout the side and we're a soft touch in defence. Look at the way Plymouth and Swindon defended against us - they put their bodies on the line and fought for everything. That says a lot about the difference between how much they want it versus what we are producing.

Morning everyone. Nope, don't want to talk about lasts horror show, there's plenty of threads to crucify everyone and anyone already. So, much though we're all pretty gutted at the performances we're paying to watch, it's not actually over. Yet. Still got 9 games to do something. 9 games. Who knows? Anything can happen. We are Rovers after all. Usually the sort of thread I might come up with but I'm sorry but just don't see it this time.

At one time we defended like that, Peterborough away springs to mind, you do wonder if we'd employed a manager in the GC mould he could have got more out of them, Tisdale was hopeless now Barton's turned into Dave Penney MK2.

Being 2 goals up at charlton and ending up losing completely killed what little confidence we had, the players still seem shell shocked to me. We are down no doubt about it. Yep that was the turning point for me, I thought we’d probably stay up before the Charlton game but since I’ve thought we’d probably go down. 2-0 up and bottling it to lose 2-3 is what relegation is made of.

If we can get Jaakola,Rodman & Nicholson back for the last 6 or 7 matches I still believe we can obtain a decent amount of points, weather it will be enough is another question.

Normally I would have some hope with nine games to go, but the fixtures look horrific.
We've had plenty of important six-pointer opportunities against our rivals and blown pretty much every one.
I am at a loss to see how Barton is going to fire up the squad, especially as he's now criticising them individually and as a group.
Tisdale was virtually lynched and chased out of town for less.
