Not a red for my liking, just throwing that out there.

Not a red for my liking, just throwing that out there. It's a bad tackle and a booking, but i'd be very disappointed if one of ours got sent off for that.

Not a red for my liking, just throwing that out there. Totally a red card. You have to look at it in context. It was in total retaliation for the challenge before. He went in deliberately on the man from behind/to the side with both feet leading. Ref was bang on.

Yeah, the tackle wasn't that bad, but everything about the guy's body language said he didn't give a toss about the ball, and was just after the man.

No, nothing like a goal scoring opportunity. On its own a yellow (maybe a red) but it was all about the fact that he went in because he'd just been tackled (and in his head fouled). He lost his head and its a red all day for me.

The red card came from a tackle on the side line between the tunnel and th halfway line. What incident are you referring to?

Maybe a straight red was a little harsh but it smacks of desperation and it was a straight taking out. You gotta bow to the ref's judgement in those situations, they should have an idea of whether it was malicious or not. Sure looked like an act of frustration.

Looks like he's angry as he goes into the tackle, he's going in there for the man not the ball. Red for me. The referees rule book thingy mabob says if a tackle is 'reckless', it's a red.
