I think people need to look at the atmosphere at other teams in this league create and realise that ours isn't bad at all!
Honestly at some of the away games I've been to this year I've felt like I was at a pre season friendly or local park game!

Martin Allen admires the loyalty of our fans but he must also feel peeved that even if Barnet win this league he is by no means assured of league football next season. I read before the season started that there may be problems with their ground having the necessary licence.

So second place might be good enough?

TBH, this might be aimed as much to his own fans as it is to us. The Hive isn't seemingly the best atmosphere and they have poor numbers, particularly for a top placed team. A little kick up the behind perhaps. It must be a bit of a downer for Allen to see only 1,600 fans turns up for Saturday's top of the table clash after Tuesday night's game at the Mem. Come January they maybe struggling to get 1,200 in for a game against a bottom 4 side! On another note how the hell are they funding their side?? They are being Bankrolled by Tony Kleanthous, a multimillionaire who made his money in telecommunications.

So second place might be good enough? Nup. If Barnet won the league but were not allowed up then that would be a reprieve for the team second from bottom in Lg 2. (I think!)

Whilst it's true the atmosphere was poor on Saturday (especially first half) I hear the same comments about teams in the premier league and they are watching some of the best players in the world!
There seems to be this myth that Rovers fans are something special but the truth is we're the same as most other supporters.
There's only so many years you can watch depressing drivel and keep yourself and the team motivated.
Granted this year we have been much better and when we have the crowd has responded, hence Allens comments about the Barnet match.
