Good read and if only we could get some of the doubters on this forum to finally believe we'd then be all rowing in the same direction for the benefit of the club.

Love those Awesome comments but it stretches the truth a bit.
Although the library end (formally known as the Blackthorn) did peep up once or twice after the goals and the 'non' handball!!!

Fair play I say to mad dog for those comments. He obviously goes' to a lot more games than us, so I have no reason to doubt his comments about our supporters. Nice to hear our guest Christian Mclean at the FFSC hospitality echoing those comments and reminding Lee Mansell what great supporters we are and how the more the players give, the more us fans will get behind them.

Ah, so Mad Dog still wants the job here one day.
He's no idiot, he butters up the fans every meeting we have.
For the record, the crowd has been poor for most of the season. Was dreadful for the first half against Welling, really poor.

Yeah, I just can't decide whether to believe the evidence of my own eyes and ears, or something I've read in the Daily Mail.

TBH, this might be aimed as much to his own fans as it is to us. The Hive isn't seemingly the best atmosphere and they have poor numbers, particularly for a top placed team. A little kick up the behind perhaps.

There was actually one time where we started singing from nowhere when not a lot was happening.

I'm just finding it difficult to keep hearing "well we weren't playing well so it's hard to get up for it". Maybe not but since when has that mattered? It never used to be the case for Rovers. Your right, there was one time singing started, but continuously throughout the half there was audible moaning and groaning every time we lost the ball which really didn't help. Funnily enough after the crowd got loud for a second, the players pushed up the field and I think i remember them having a chance, I'm not saying their directly proportioned or that if the crowd are loud and supportive we win, but I definitely think it's easier for them.

The crowd were up for it. The players didn't start well and the crowd got edgy which I feared may happen. Barnet proved though that if the team perform then the fans will more than back them.

Yeah. The team gave us nothing to shout about and we created almost nothing while the crowd were quiet, but istm once we got loud towards the end of the first half, we immediately created a couple of chances. The team can lift the crowd and the crowd can lift the team.

Must admit, I thought it was a bit quiet on Saturday. Maybe we need someone on a megaphone....

When we weren't playing teams like Welling in a Conference home game?

A little kick up the behind perhaps. It must be a bit of a downer for Allen to see only 1,600 fans turns up for Saturday's top of the table clash after Tuesday night's game at the Mem. Come January they maybe struggling to get 1,200 in for a game against a bottom 4 side! On another note how the hell are they funding their side??

When we weren't playing teams like Welling in a Conference home game? In my opinion, vocal home support for the last few years has been poor at best. Again, know there's been nothing to shout about but that shouldn't be the excuse in my opinion. When we're good we're really good, but that hasn't happened enough and when we're not we're silent, bar the moaning.

Yes, I agree that the support hasn't been great vocally but we have had to put up with a lot of sh** for way too long now. We have been consistently under performing as a club. Our away support when I've gone to away games has still been outstanding on the whole. You can't expect fans to just turn up and be all happy clappy when we're losing week in week out especially against teams with about 1/6 of our attendance.

Especially when people are paying £18-25 a pop to get in nowadays.
