Id say we want Rochdale and Swindon to draw Or Swindon to win and then get deducted points... Yeah even better

I don't think anybody is safe. Wimbledon have games in hand but that is worth a lot less at the bottom of the table than the top. They have Ipswich twice, Oxford, Portsmouth and Lincoln (all chasing playoffs) and then two against the bottom six (Swindon and Rochdale). Northampton, who are currently top of the six, weirdly are the ones that I feel most confident will go down. I can only seen them getting 1-2 points from their remaining games. For us I think it comes down to the three home games - Lincoln, MK and Crewe. 7-9 points there - hopefully enough. 5-6 will be tight. Anything less and we're gone. The two away games are tough and will be a free hit - any points gained will be a bonus. I think we have a good chance of getting 7 more so 45. Northampton? 42. Wimbledon? 45. Wigan? 45. Swindon? 43. Rochdale? 41. Staying up by goal difference... I agree over AFCW. With their opponents chasing play-offs I think that’s a hard run in. They might avoid relegation but I don’t think it’s as clear as some think. If any team becomes 4 or more points adrift of the safety line then they won’t have enough games to recover. But if teams are within 3 points then it could come down to the last match or two. That’s why I always think it’s what we do that’s important. If we could squeeze a win v Lincoln then it gives us a chance. At the moment I’d prefer to be in our position rather than Rochdale’s, Northampton’s or Swindon’s (with their penalty surely to follow). Perhaps Wigan and AFCW May prefer their position but it could all change tonight. So come on Sunderland and Ipswich tonight. UTG!

IF,and it's a rather big IF, we are to stay up I'd say we have to win at least 3 of the 5 left. Most likely the home games but if we don't beat Lincoln then maybe Blackpool. So for tonight's games given how massive 3 points are we need none of them to win. Goal difference could yet play a part and the pressure will just crank up between now and May 9th. That even applies to the top end as the prize becomes more visible.

I was hoping for Sunderland to be winning 6-0 now, Ipswich to be 4 or 5 up with Rochdale v Swindon descending into a mass brawl, being abandoned with bit clubs getting an immediate 10 point deduction. Also for Lincoln to get 3 sent off and another 5 injured before we play them next. Is that too much to ask?

2-0 against ten men.
Ipswich really was a missed opportunity for us. Annoying.

At the end of the day we have been so poor we should probably be 10 points adrift by now. We've had no luck on the pitch but plenty of luck with other teams around us being so poor. It was never going to last.
