Does anyone know if there are any plans to mark this milestone.
How about a friendly between Trolls and DC's Wembley heroes to raise money for the NHS charities?

I remember Geoff Dunford telling me it was a "temporary" home. Then years later he came bounding over to me with a big beaming smile saying, "We have planning permission at UWE".

I’m shocked that we’re still here 25 years on and relatively little has changed with the ground. A new roof which the fans paid for, a few tents thrown together, lovely pitch (recently) and a decent bar. That’s not much for quarter of a century.

Let's be honest we don't need a new ground at present ( realisim please ).
So why don't the club work with the EFL funding body to build a modest south stand ?. It will give us a mini boost . Its realistic because 99% of other clubs have funding for modest stands. You only got to watch national leauge football.

Improve the ground so it’s got facilities that all other clubs fans take for granted.

Unfortunately there’s little pressure for that approach when many still believe in projects like the Fruit Basket Arena But of course you’re absolutely spot on

Geoff Dunford said at an Open Day,the DRIBUILD was being extended the whole length of the pitch and around where the South Tent is.That didn't happen. Then I was asked to choose my seat at Cheltenham for two seasons whilst the MEM was re-built.When asked why the Mem hadn't been demolished ready for the new build, Lenny Lawrence was reported in the Green UN as saying it was because the players need somewhere to meet up before games? ? In more recent times the 'watertight' UWE farce is more well known complete with failed Appeal v Sainsburys but in those 25 years so many others have actually built new stadiums, improved theirs and just look at the Conference grounds which put us to shame. 1 squirmed with embarrassment when Mr Wael was asked in a rare interview,'What about the Stadium?' and he replied that new hand driers had been installed in the Gents .I really felt for him then and realised he is not the man to get us a new or improved ground. Looking at others be it Ashton Gate,Burton,Shrewsbury,Chesterfield,Brentford or Telford etc ,etc they have all managed it but we are still stuck with tents, sub standard facilities and the visiting Dutch Fans summed it up when showed the Mem saying it was unusual to have stands at a clubs training ground.
