I think we will be put out of our misery. Why tonight...?🤪 I’ve had nigh on 50 years misery, one way or the other, with this club. (A few highlights I will admit) The misery will continue.....

I actually feel more relaxed about this one tonight. It's odd, I know it's not mathematically certain that we'll go down, but the likelihood is so high that I genuinely feel the same as when we played our last game in 2001. Already down, fate sealed, we can relax...sort of!

As usual praying for a win but expecting a defeat, four wins would probably just save us but overall this season sadly we deserve to go down, only good thing about covid is I haven't had to witness the dross,Barrow here we come again.

I also feel relaxed about tonight and I'll be watching the game.
To me our fate is already signed, sealed and delivered and I just had a read as Sam Frost expected line up and he's put the best case scenario too and it's just not good enough so I've excepted our fate.
I think it'll be 1-1 and Wigan to beat Shrewsbury.

I think if our injury luck goes the way it has then we could be without Jaakkola, McCormick, Daly and Hanlan. Add to that Upson's suspension and no one returning. You would be picking from:
Day MvS Armstrong
Williams Kilgour Baldwin Leahy Hare Tutonda Little
Martinez Westbrooke Oztumer Barrett Hargreaves Liddle Mehew Tomlinson
Ayunga Walker Phillips
Go out and cohesively press and win that game against an MK Dons that have managed to retain possession at a very high standard much of the season.
I'll come back to you with my thoughts, but what would you do with that list? (Feel free to add anyone I missed who isn't injured or possibly injured)

First game all season I’m missing tonight as I’m having to take my son back to Uni.... no doubt we’ll go and win this one!
Frustrating thing about this season is generally the performances have been ok (odd exceptions I know) but what has cost us is really 3 things - every defensive mistake seems to be punished with a goal, despite good all round play our forwards don’t score (they have been unlucky on a number of occasions) and whilst these things should normally even themselves out over a season we have been on the end of really poor refereeing decisions and normally at key points in games (also the even themselves out over a season bit doesn’t seem to have happened!) This has happened irrespective of which manager has been in charge.
If (when) we are relegated I wouldn’t look to do wholesale changes (it may be forced with so many out of contract) - I’d look just to tweak the key parts of the team - namely add to the forward line.
Onto tonight’s game - gonna be a difficult one . We were unlucky against Lincoln and I do think we are due some luck changing. I’m going for a nervy 2-1 win...

At this stage if I'm joey, I'm forgetting about results or staying up and start planning for L2 next and who we should keep etc.

Only Big Jock , Hugo and Tilly survive the Cull, rest of us gone and rightly so. Marshy’s been given a lifeline by the other forum but he must provide a box of pi$$ and some sausage rolls.

I think we will be put out of our misery. We cannot be relegated tonight unfortunately regardless of results Pompey will have that pleasure on Saturday lunch time. Lee Brown winner to send us down, how ironic!

We should be aiming to end the season with 4 straight wins - not likely perhaps but until/unless we are mathematically doomed we should not be planning for next season. I will be interested to see the attitude of the players tonight. Hopefully they, and Barton, are still up for the fight - if so I believe we will win.

Already down, fate sealed, we can relax...sort of! What a week that was! 4 games in a week Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday wasn't it. Lost the first three then once we'd gone down, gave Wrexham a good beating
