Not sure any manager's career would be over just because they failed at Rovers, it's become a bit of an elephants graveyard as far as managers go. If PT was so annoyed by the comments why didn't he seek an apology, just getting removed is hardly a major move. Well getting it removed has made the national press and humiliated Barton and our club, so it seems to have had the effect PT desired, and Barton's judgement is yet again in question. And fair play to him. He’s made his point in a very clever, understated and gentlemanly way, completely the opposite of how Barton’s comments were made. Shame he couldn’t get the Gas firing again after the enforced COVID break. I think it would have been nigh on impossible for anyone to get a consistent tune out of this squad, playing the cards as they were dealt, but it’s still very disappointing that we seemed to throw in the towel at the end. So sad not to see that backs against the wall fighting spirit that we’ve been famous for.

Ha ha how has Barton been humiliated his comments about Tisdale made national press and talksport. It’s off the website so what he can’t sue Barton as nda is with the club. Worst case Tisdale sues the club and club settle Barton got his point across. It’s irrelevant Barton has done the damage and comes away looking good ! He even challenged the lawyers again last week so more headlines and they can’t touch him
