www.clydefc.co.uk/news/2021/05/18/6779/#.YKSl6xB4Wf0Hope this works as I am not used to starting threads. My second team is Clyde who play in League 1 in Scotland. As it's the end of the season and possibly bored of all the non happenings going on at the club. I thought a look at the standard of play in what amounts to their 3rd Division. At least there were goals

New interesting threads always welcome! as far as i am concerned, some of the pitches look 'artificial'?

Would any of those goals be good enough to fall into our top 10 goals of the season

Clyde have a nice ground a lot better than ours, and there are certainly players at that level capable of doing a good job at our level.
Been getting into Scottish football by listening to podcasts and reading various articles, in many ways I prefer it over how the Championship and Premier League operate.

Well barum, as I like researching random club's stadiums, and found Clyde's stadium to look pretty smart, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole...
I didn't have any idea that Airdrieonions, formerly Airdrie United, are basically a scottish version of MK Dons!? I remember Clydebank being read out on the Grandstand football scores when I was younger, and vaguely wondered what had happened to them, but never knew that Airdrie stole their identity!

Loved the goal where the fella brought it down on to his chest then arrowed his shot into the side of the goal - 'you don't stop those!!!'

Talking of Airdrieonions, a player that axegas mentioned in the wishlist thread has been catching the eye there. Former Newcastle United player Laurent Robert's son, Thomas.

Last Scottish match for me was Falkirk.Fallen down the divisions since but lovely stadium which is used constantly by youth groups, social groups, students sport and meetings etc and this brings in essential revenue. Not sure if they are full time.

Clyde dont own their current stadium. They used to play at Shawfield Stadium which had a greyhound racing track and when I moved to Bristol, Eastville was like home from home. Another similarity with the Gas is that Clyde didnt own Shawfield and ended up having to find a new ground
