I will be honest, I've not been to the Mem (due to current circumstances) for nearly 2 years. I think I am in denial that we are back in league 2. As I really think about it I am fookin devasted. Am I wrong? I am currently homeless and living in accommodation in Bridgwater, times are hard but every Saturday gave me a vision of home, standing on the Thatchers terrace etc etc.
How Did you Feel?

Sorry to hear of your current circumstances, and hope that things will improve. It must be particularly difficult in these times of uncertainty. I'm sure that when the fixtures come out, I'll find myself automatically looking at League One. It'll take me a few games for it to fully sink in - I just hope that we get off to a good start for once, to soften the blow.

Mate, we all think differently about our aspirations and expectations for our football club.... Its completely subjective.... There is no right or wrong. At the end of the day we all want rovers to do well because it can cheer us up a bit, but there are others things in life that make us happy and make us sad....
Like yourself I don't go much anymore because of financial reasons, but rovers performances and results have the same effect on me whether I attend or not....
I guess life is a bit like football.... Its been s*** lately but the good times will roll again....

To be honest we were so sh**e all season by the time it was confirmed I'd already accepted it and didn't really care when it finally happened. The last year and a half have been sh** for everyone so in the bigger picture it doesn't really matter to me. Especially as it was a team of mostly new players I felt very little connection to anything that was going on.

Over the last two years we’ve had the last few months of Coughlans tenure (and then apparently that was a loaf of sh** anyway) and Garnerball. Then everyone missed the rest anyway. So I wouldn’t worry about having missed much!

Make no mistake big man life has been tough on so many folk, much of which is not visible. I think yous should use th Gas ta channel some energy into - even if it’s havin a moan, or waiting ta see who we sign. I genuinely feel for your situation as I’ve been there myself, you’ll be back at th Mem one day not too far away with a beer an a load of banter ta lift ye. Don’t hesitate ta ask for help pal there’s alwaes folk who care an although it sometimes doesnae seem that way 99% of people are good folk only to willing ta listen.

Reckon we will be the Norwich or Fulham of L1/L2 unless things change massively.

Try to look at it this way. Would you rather another season in L1, going nowhere or fighting relegation? Or fighting it out for the top in L2, going for promotion? As Yaz used to sing about the time of Gerry "the only way is up". I live in hope!!!

No your not wrong mate ,how ever hard we try football does have a disproportionate affect on our mind set, its daft and irrational especially if we have other issues which we are trying to work through, but here's the thing, nothing was more devastating(sporting wise) than relegation to the National league but you know what ,at kick off time in that first conference game v Grimsby it mattered not one dot what league it was it could have been Man u, Liverpool, it did not matter , the feeling was the same, 'national league or not , it was Rovers and that's all that mattered, so despair not mate , Rovers are still here and i hope and am sure you will be to , soon ,up the Rovers !
