It’s going to be a fair few miles next season

Yes it will be a few miles but I’m looking forwards to it already. The trouble for me is if I do anything in the north then by the time I get back to around Bristol then it’s still another 2 hours south. But it will be great to get the fixtures on Thursday and start to look at the away games that I can do. UTG!

Only Exeter are directly South. In fairness it’s not really much worse than last season

It’s a better league travel wise than League One in the last few seasons though, isn’t it? You’ve got Forest Green, Swindon and Newport that are easy to get to, then slightly beyond that Exeter and Walsall which aren’t ages away.
Last season (although obviously no travelling was required due to COVID 19) the nearest trip was Swindon, with Oxford and Plymouth being the only “local” games beyond that. Season before that, there was no Swindon or Plymouth and we had to travel even further.

I think I’m going to have to book a few overnight stays or buy a house in Stoke

It’s going to be a fair few miles next season You're assuming away fans will be allowed into grounds?

I know it’s not what people want to hear but I’m looking forward to seeing several new clubs at the Mem and perhaps a few away. Yes it’s League 2 and not what I’d have chosen but it is what it is. And at this point we’re in League 2, I’ll try and enjoy it. 🤔 UTG!

I’m looking forward to doing the Sutton United away trip if I can make it. Love a good day out in London and it’ll be an away day reminiscent of our stint in the National League. Very excited for the fixtures being announced and for the season to get under away regardless of it being the fourth tier.

The clubs I haven't been to are Harrowgate, Tranmere, Sutton, and Barrow

Good luck finding Harrowgate's ground.
