Government confirms that stadiums will return to full capacity from 19th July.
wow! At long last I’m so happy for everyone to get their chance ta watch their team again, if I’m honest I’m a touch emotional an my thoughts went straight to those who sadly never got to see it happen.
To all those we lost, Rest In Peace we will all raise a glass to you an remember you all…….an to all of you who get to go again - enjoy it, embrace it an never forget what we’ve gone through.
UP THE GAS (in front of crowds) 👍💙⚽️

It reminds me of the sense of euphoria I felt when I first heard about the Eat out to Help out scheme! Let's hope this has a better outcome!

The first Goodnight Irene back with a packed Thatchers end will be spine tingling. Waited so long just to hear that noise live once again.

I'm a S/T holder, but I'm not sure I will be rushing back. BoJo is passing the buck about masks, tests and vaccine passports, looks like everything is wide open.

Everyone will be back the stadiums and everywhere else. Then there will be another major surge in numbers and we’ll all be back to Ifollow by the end of August. Politicians and Tory donors want us fully open. Pretty much all the medical world and scientific community are warning it’s a likely disaster. Do I rush back to see my favourite team? I’ve missed live football so much and I bought a season ticket which I don’t want to waste. However can I honestly say I feel safe in crowds and that it’s worth the risk. I just don’t know at this stage. I can’t be the only one who feels conflicted about this.

But don’t forget it’s scientists job to advise the government that the end is nigh unless we lock ourselves in until Covid is gone for good. It’s the economic advisers who recommend the opposite of course, and a balance has to be found by our politicians somewhere in between. Hopefully the hard work of the NHS staff working on the vaccination programme will mean that we won’t be back on iFollow unless we can’t be at the Mem because of geography.

Very surprised that masks in indoor spaces/public transport have not been retained. Stating what if there was one person on the train, well 2 metres space, if not masks on. Not as though they've had long enough to think about it. The majority of the public are in favour of keeping masks so don't see why they couldn't enforce what the majority want. Anyway that's my opinion so don't knock me down. Regarding the Mem. East stand roof is so damn high it's outdoors anyway

I just don’t know at this stage. I can’t be the only one who feels conflicted about this. With 5million on the NHS waiting list, suicide all over the gaff and mental illness out of control. I think the pendulum swung on what is sensible and safe a while ago. As long as people are respectful towards others and the clubs provide an environment where you can wash hands, not get squashed at the bar etc. It should be fine. Perhaps introduce a safety zone in each stand? We've got plenty of space!
