Only a friendly but the lack of goals pre season worry me even more than last season, and that didn't end well.

What an absolutely dreadful watch. Very little to excite anybody. Very hard to judge what the plusses are this season. Canm't at this time see us scoring many goals with this team.

Terrible tackle on Anderton.Do the referee not realise that it is Rovers players career. Would have been a red in a League game and even more should be a red in this. Impressed with Grant in the back which is where I said he should have been playing last season. Thomas did well. Not sure about Collins but have to remember that Matty Taylor wasn't great to start with. Hanlan done OK but there is something missing in our football considering the opponents are so far below us. Speaking to a few FGR supporters Collins couldn't hit a barn door. However, for the last few games under new management he was given more of a free role and was the stand out player playing slightly deeper. Was more confident and suddenly looked like scoring

I know is only friendlies but they had the better chances and we looked miles off a promotion team. They don't always count for a lot but what i have seen so far i am not very confident.

Thought Ryan Jones looked quite good, shame he couldn't have put that great chance away!

I swear I must be watching different games to some of you as I felt we’ve looked in complete control pretty much. Luke Thomas has looked decent, Westbrooke has played quite well with some decent passes and tackles, we’ve had a few decent chances from crosses into the box and Clarke has done well on the left. Havant have had 2 decent chances but not much else and I’d argue we’ve been the more dominant side with more half chances…. Hoole and Budd do not look out of place and I do think they’ll be regular 1st team squad players… Collins really unlucky right at the end with the defender getting the block in on his tap in after good interplay and great cross from Clarke. All in all an ok 1st half and a good workout…. You do realise we're only playing a NLS side, what's the betting most of their players have done a day's work before playing tonight, as I doubt they are a full time set up. We seem to have exactly the same problems as last season, strikers who never score.

It’s all very underwhelming at present , Anyone actually know if we are actively pursuing any strikers , seems like we’re still having the same issues with goal scoring

The games that matter start Saturday week. Quite happy to see what that brings.

Hughes looked commanding Luke Thomas looked excellent especially first half, am worrying where are the goals coming from?
Watched on ifollow and Hoole and Budd did okay, Westbrooke some nice passing, but again our crosses into the box were generally poor.
Wanted to see coutts and Finley in midfield, some of their tackles were awful especially the one on Anderton.

On the striker front, an attitude change still needed within the club

So; nil-nil draw. Both sides obviously missing Jonah Ayunga.

Not easy times being a Rover's fan.Understand the urge to be positive but the JB situation ,the appalling ground ,the fact that we simply never score from open play makes for a worrying time.We have not done anything in pre season to quell my fears. Things must change very quickly.Tonight's opposition was a part time team.Leadership sadly lacking at our club.It hurts.

Wasn’t that bad. At least Brandon Hanlan looks better even in preseason than he did last season.
Honestly, iFollow makes it look worse than it is.
We are missing that out and out goalscorer though because it isn’t BH.
Was great to be back in the Mem but no preseason friendly can compare to a competitive fixture and there couldn’t have been more than about 800 there. On the flip side it’ll be weird being back in a crowd again - felt odd enough at 2m distance. Most aren’t masking up moving around the ground.
