A top man and a shame his career is being cut short because his body can’t perform.

A top man and a shame his career is being cut short because his body can’t perform. Not denying he's a top man and he hasn't put a gun to Rovers or Yeovil's head and demanded we sign him, however the cynic in me says he's very invested in his other business interests (as per his Instagram and various Bristol Post interviews) and is using football clubs as a way to make a steady income whilst he gets them off the ground. Yes maybe he should be applauded for planning for life after football, but can we absolutely say he did everything he could to maximise his football career.

I don't think having other interests is proof that he didn't though. Footballers get killed the moment they mention anything not played on grass. He's having a tough end to his career, he wasn't the first, wont be the last. Kinda lame to suggest he didn't give his all to be fit without evidence either way.

The biggest disappointment in a signing we’ve had the last 5 years. Came with such a good reputation and was utter garbage. I know injuries didn’t help but he was slow , clumsy in possession and just generally sh**.

Sounds like he is just being sensible to me. He knows his playing days are coming to an end and is doing what he can to prepare for a career outside of playing football. Fair play to him imo

You might be right mate and like I said it should be applauded he's keeping his options open for when football finishes. I just question if his mind was fully on football and his recovery whilst having these other interests and is it a bit rich to have pursued another contract at Yeovil when he's barely played for 2 years.

Oz was a loan signing severely affected by covid Bennett actually started well when signed but your right awful after that. Ehmer is the one I’d say runs him close so you could have me there. 😅

But I can 100% say he was either injured or crap.

Yea the irony of that interview where he made everyone feel sorry for him for not being paid for Bolton then he spends 3 years robbing a living himself after, he needs to pack it in and stop being a strain on football clubs wage bills

Anybody know what the injury was which forced him off, was it an impact injury any footballer could suffer or yet another strain, as it seems the Gaschat jury have already decided it was the latter? None of us know the terms of Little's contract at Yeovil for all we know it could be appearance based.

I thought the Max Ehmer part was interesting too. Yep.. confirms what JB said in the media about him too. How he had played with Max at QPR and he was making the same mistakes back then.

"With so many young and technically gifted players who wanted to play that way, it seemed an odd decision to bring in Tisdale, quite a direct and old-school manager"The words you wouldn't have used to describe Tisdale before his appointment was direct and old-school surely? I'd certainly have a lot more confidence going into this season with Tisdale in charge than Barton.
