I know lots of supporters like to get to the ground around 5 mins to kick off, but I really recommend getting there at least 30 mins earlier than usual.
Lots of furloughed staff have not come back (heard an unsubstantiated rumour Kay from the shop is not returning), and with new match day staff just starting (as well as covid checks?), there were could well be delays.

Also new/replacement season tickets haven’t arrived yet and the response I received fromTicket Master would suggest they won’t be ready for next week. Just a normal weekend as a Gas Fan

Just madness if people decide to wobble over from the Welly at 2:55 and expect it all to go well.
Far more responsible to get legless in the club bar after getting a ticket and then wobble wherever they like.
There is a slightly serious point here, as the OP says.

Apparently Ticketmaster are emailing seasion ticket holders today or tomorrow advising details of season ticket cards.
Looks like printed tickets for Stevenage and Oldham may have to be posted to fans as cards not available.
Ps Kay from Rovers shop left many months ago on retirement.

That's for new Season Tickets holders yes?

Have just emailed Tom Gorringe about ST's. Received an instant reply. Ticketmaster contacting all season ticket holders today.

Whenever we link up with a large organisation, we always seem to get poor service .
They seem to think we are only little poor Bristol Rovers and are seemed to be an afterthought. Ie no kit on sale until the start of the season, whereas other clubs fans can take them on holiday.
They have had plenty of time to sort out STs ( even with Covid). We will.lose a lot of older fans who don't use tech. Had to laugh, a few seasons ago, my Dad was told there was an advert about the next seasons STs in the programme. The programme just had a picture of the kid on the box saying go to the website to see our advert! He was not contacted, so decided to choose his games and has not had a ST since. I guess he is not the only one.
The days of friendly Rovers fans employed by the club are long gone. Kay, Steve Burns, Keith Brookman, Ray Kendall, SC volunteers, et all. Replaced by large uncaring, commission based unseen corporates with little knowledge of the club.
Tom may say they are more professional (sic) but they don't go the extra mile and we are fast losing the family club feel.

It would appear Tom Gorringe has heeded my advice and put out an email from the club confirming the ST cockup by Ticketmaster. A compatability problem with their system and the old cards being the problem.

What a mess. What do Ticketmaster and TerraceLife bring to the table? Doesn’t seem any better than before. If anything, worse.

They know it's a mess and still quite happy to go along with it. The club have obviously believed how wonderful Ticketmaster told them they were when we approached them . We have got on board with a massive company who could not give a f**k about relatively small numbers of ticket sales in their massive empire. And we now know what the result of that is.

I had a feeling this was going to happen and was 50/50 about buying a ST via ticketmaster. Now wishing I hadn’t bothered and just reverted back to pay on the day via the match day ticket office. Is it too late to request a refund?
