What do we do for Tuesdays cup tie? Do we rest our best players and wrap cotton wool around them for Saturday by naming a weakened side or do we use the extra game to gel in our best team available? I think a lot depends on the state of the players that are out injured. I'm a firm believer in putting out your best available side but changing a few players who didn't play that well. I would definitely give Belshaw a start and if he played well seriously consider him for saturdays game too. Defensively I think I would try to keep the back four together so go Houle, Hughes, Anderton and Harries. Midfield again it is difficult because where are Finley, Nicholson,Rodman injury wise? In truth I wouldnt be disappointed if I never saw Westbrooke in a Rovers shirt again and would prefer to even see Barrett given another chance when and if fit. Our striker position is a complete joke as it is difficult to not play Saunders again. I would assume that Clarke has joined the injured list and Coutts will be suspended. My team if the players are fit would be
Belshaw
Houle Hughes Capt Anderton Harries
Grant or Finley
Anderson Spense
Thomas Hanlan Saunders
At the moment our squad just doesn't appear as strong as I would have hoped and there is a long way to go but I just feel that we need to put out a strong side and hope they click.

Steve, his name is Hoole!
I'd play as close to first choice as possible to get the team up to speed. Agree with giving Belshaw a run out.

Think JB needs to go with his strongest side, need to get team to gel asap, plenty of chance to experiment in the 'other' cup.

Sam
Sam Frost is quick to write about getting rid of players by end of August but I think we will need the whole squad.
With possibly 2 players down from Saturday we might need Hargreaves to be in the squad.

I think that the ticket office is open on Tuesday for pay on the day fans? Can anyone confirm?

Did I get this right? Barton said we won't rotate, but will use the players that did net play on Saturday.
Isn't that rotating?

I assume he means not rotating individual players but change the entire team, that's what Sam Frost seems to be suggesting in today's Q&A.

Cheltenham Town are delighted to announce the signing of highly rated forward Kyle Vassell.
Signing at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium on a one-year contract, the 28-year-old brings high level EFL and international football experience to the forward line at the Robins.
In his EFL career to date he's been involved in 64 goals - finding the net on 44 occasions and contributing in 20 assists - representing the likes of Peterborough United, Blackpool, Rotherham United and Fleetwood Town.

For the Bristol post they'll be some changes tonight. In defense Kilgour or Baldwin would begin, with the Stoke youngster. We could see Ryan Jones for the first time this evening. Sion Spence too. Maybe Westbrooke Thomas or Hulbert coming in.
Rovers (4-2-3-1): Belshaw; Hoole, Kilgour, Taylor, Harries; Grant, Liddle; Jones, Spence, Walker; Saunders.

Is Coutts suspended tonight or is it 3 League games? If he is not suspended then it is sensible to play him for his own fitness levels.
