If anyone really wants to see me talk about the 'Away The Gas' book and be the Rovers representation on the bi-weekly 'Subs Bench' please tune in to Made in Bristol today at 7pm (repeated 10pm). All ably hosted by Nigel Turner and Richard Latham (the Rovers expert for the Sunday Independent paper).
Topics / reports this week include the F.A. Cup beach ball, Rovers away attendances, and the Lee Haskins fight.
Freeview channel 8 in the Bristol area, plus Virgin Media ch 159 and Sky ch 117.
I am not often on TV so please be kind if I made any boobs, or was a bit bland. I was understandably a little nervous and didn't know what questions were coming up so was all off the cuff.
Funnily enough I can't watch it myself as I'm outside the Freeview broadcast reach! and don't have cable/satellite.

Thanks for the heads up MM - I'll be tuning in. I've not seen the programme before, as I keep forgetting that it's now available on Sky.
I once did a live interview on BBC Radio Wiltshire, and found it very nerve wracking.

Ditto Virgin (is that cable?)

I can pick it up via Sky in West Wiltshire, whereas I can't get the channel via Freeview. Maybe a Gashead who lives a bit further afield can shed some light on this?

Ps got it spot on about the fans being nervous due to only one going up. This is such a poor quality league we simply must get out

Fair play MM, thought you came across well. +1 Wouldn't have guessed that you were nervous at all. My eyesight is not the best, but did they put "Martin Ball" up as the caption at the beginning?

Nice one ... and a good plug at the end ... although I'm not sure the ted will be buying a copy.
TT ... your eyes did not fail you; introduced as Martin Bull but caption read "Martin Ball".
A goo interview Martin and you did not come across as nervous. Well done.

Thanks for your kind words everyone! My nervousness must mainly be internal then, and also my own disappointment at rarely saying what I really want to say in these interviews. re match footage - I'm not sure. May be something to do with broadcasting rights/budget, or just due to the boxing coverage, which won't be every programme? Sadly I can't get the channel so have never seen it before (except the bit when Geoff Dunford was on). re my name - ah well, I've had it quite a lot of my life so quite used to it. And they apparently put the website address up on the screen which was a brucie bonus.
