Exeter striker Sam Nombe has tested positive for Covid, the Grecians now assessing whether it has had potential to spread through the squad or not. We play them in a couple of weekends time on the 21st. Harrogate had 3 of their games postponed after Covid spread amongst the squad. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58166489

Given the number of injuries we have, this may not be a bad thing.

Given the number of injuries we have, this may not be a bad thing. Agreed, but I think it would be a disappointing thing from a fan’s perspective. I know Exeter is one of the more attractive away days in league two this season and it being moved to a Tuesday night might prevent some from going.

Rochdale have been given a bye to the second round of the Carabao Cup because Harrogate Town are unable to fulfil the fixture in the required period.
Dale were supposed to visit the Yorkshire side on Tuesday but a Covid-19 outbreak has forced them to postpone their next three fixtures.
Town sought to reschedule the tie but the new date did not leave time for logistical arrangements to be made.
Leyton Orient dropped out of last season's EFL Cup for the same reason.
Rochdale started the season with a 3-2 defeat at Harrogate on Saturday.

It’s all getting a bit complicated already. It will be just our luck to get key players fit and then our opponents call games off.

I have already forked out £60 on train tickets! So I'll be enjoying a day out in Exeter regardless of if there is any football on

Actually i think that its the ideal game for a tuesday as you can leave home at 5.30- even 6 and still make the kick off

Well working on the 21st and can't make Tuesday games but at the moment have a job to raise any enthusiasm for going anyway, depressing times at rovers.

No further positive tests at Exeter so their game is going ahead at Orient on Saturday.
Looking good for the 21st.

Exeter City manager Matt Taylor hopes any possible Covid-19 outbreak in his squad has been kept at bay.
Striker Sam Nombe and defender Alex Hartridge have contracted the illness, but Josh Key, who was a close contact of Nombe, has tested negative.
It means City's League Two trip to Leyton Orient can go ahead as planned after two rounds of tests in 48 hours.
"We hope these are sporadic cases that have come from the outside as opposed to from within our ranks," he said.
"If they've come from within our ranks then we wouldn't be able to travel this weekend and play the game.
"Hopefully we've caught it early enough in terms of Sam and Alex respectively and stopped it spreading within the camp," Taylor told BBC Sport.
Harrogate Town have been forced to call off their next two League Two matches, as well as last Tuesday's Carabao Cup first round tie with Rochdale after positive cases.
"Anyone who's got a sniffle or a cold, you have to suspect it's Covid and you have to treat it like it," Taylor added.
"I expect it to continue throughout this season and maybe moving forward, and all we can do is make sure we stick to our medical protocols.
"It's the right thing for the players, but it's not always the right thing for myself as a football manager picking the team.
"But we're doing the right thing by the players and their safety is our primary concern."

Well that's one league table we have a chance of doing well in. The away attendance league.

Think another striker will arrive and hard to find a better potential front 3 at this level than Nicholson, Thomas and Pitman when fit anyway.
