Played for us 64/65 and died in 2015. Today I attended a lecture as a Vol to help out with Dementia sufferers. The lecturer was Roy's daughter who became passionate about Dementia when Roy ,died from it. Also played for Norwich and I recall him playing for Rovers in an away win at Brentford when he got injured.Had to stay on in those days so he moved from full back to up front meaning Brentford had to put a marker on him .This is her pic of her Dad.

I went to school with his son Andrew in the late 1960s and remember being in awe that his Dad was someone who had played football at such a level. We had loads of Football annuals around the house and there were plenty of pictures of him from his Norwich days. They were living in Crawley and at the time and I believe Roy was involved on the coaching staff at Aldershot. Andrew still lives in the US.
