Yet another post against JB. These wasters who call themselves supporters ruin every post with their childness. Why is anyone who is opposed to Barton a waster and not allowed to call themselves a supporter ! You criticise players when you want to but we are not allowed to criticise the appointment of this so called manager ! We are entitled to our opinions !

Yet another post against JB. These wasters who call themselves supporters ruin every post with their childness. Very strong, and in my eyes unnecessary, words. Whilst the constant JB bashing can be a little boring the man is not without criticism. It is very odd that his bestie has walked out on us for family reasons and is now courting clubs which are mileage wise (taking previous posters words for it) at a similar distance. Makes one question if there has been a falling out.

I'm so watered off with most people who need to grow up. I,like all but a few on this forum, are 'Rovers til I die'. I acknowledge that people on the forum will have different views, and, to make my position clear, I opposed Barton's appointment and nothing has changed my views. However, even die-hard supporters surely need to put all this into proportion. We are living through a pandemic and will do better if we realise we are all in it together, so let's not spend our energy calling one another names. The average age of this forum is surely quite high, but there are too many people on it who need to GROW UP. Onwards and upwards.

Getting some decent performances and results together? I'd argue the only decent performance so far was the first half against crisis club Oldham and the game against Cheltenham's reserve/youths in the tin pot trophy. Other than that we got outplayed by Mansfield with barely a chance created, outplayed and lost vs Stevenage at home, lost the game conceding 4 goals in 25 minutes vs Exeter and couldn't beat a team who finished 21st in League Two last season despite having a man advantage for over an hour. As I said, getting better, thought we played well against Crawley. I’ll have a pint of what you drank please mate? Through the we were awful and lucky to get anything from the game

Makes one question if there has been a falling out. To further a conspiracy theory or dispel it more things need to be known. What we do know. CH left for family reasons. Being at rovers fulltime wasnt working. CH knows the Hartlepool manager from qpr days. Hartlepool are short on coaching staff. The position at Hartlepool is temporary. Do we know. How long the role will be for ? How many days a week is he helping out ? Obviously if CH is going to Hartlepool for 2 days a week for 3 months ,that's a completely different thing to permanent fulltime attending.

We were fortunate they didn't have their shooting boots on because against a more clinical side we would have been punished.

We were fortunate they have Nichols because against a more clinical side we would have been punished. Fixed that for you Nichols should have buried his header and Nadesan should have buried at least one of his chances when he was one on one with the keeper, but fortunately for us he hit it straight at Belshaw. I dread to think what the score would have been against a team with a more potent attack.

CH has just started studying for his Pro coaching badge. Maybe that had something to do with his leaving. Who knows. Not sure how that can be classed as the "family issues" reason given by the club unless his wife is teaching him.

It's quite bizarre. Presumably in Steve's world, and the world of many others, criticising the manager is a heinous crime. Based on the fact JB has about the worst record of any of our managers, we'd never have sacked anyone, ever. Even Buckle and McGhee's stats were far superior to Joey's.

Why are you so determined to defend the guy? Why do you refer to me as "they" when it was me the questioned Topper for posting something untrue and me who responded to his and your response? Why would it mean I am "wrong" if it is thrown out of court, the charge is withdrawn or he is found not guilty. What will I be wrong about? Point one. Because he is innocent until proven guilty and his wifes denial is good enough for me. Point two. You posted it and Antonio and to a lesser extent twerton agreed with you. That makes more than one when I do the maths. Topper is wrong in your opinion, not mine. Point three. You have clearly found him guilty on this thread and many other threads on here. Whatever way you say it you are clearly in the Barton out camp. I am not,so I will leave it at that and refrain from posting on this thread. I’ve been away for a few days. What a thread this is. Very sensible, reasoned points by Bideford. Gaschat will be improved when the reasonable take back control of this forum from the few who “troll along” with their comments on many threads. The majority can make this place better if we wanted too.

Thought Collins was pretty anonymous, but I suppose it doesn't help when all you have to deal with is long balls pumped up in his general direction for 45 minutes. It's even more worrying then if they all put in "performances", but were still outplayed with less of the ball and less chances created by a team that had conceded 6 goals in two of their previous three games. As I said, against a better side we would have been punished and lost that game.

Well obviously if the record improves I will say well done Joey and the team, of course, and admit I was wrong. Just like almost all the other Barton 'haters', I expect. And presumably if he is a disaster, a disaster some of us predicted, you'll be on here next season bigging up the new manager and saying the previous season's manager was a loser. As you have before.
