Totally agree. I read all these threads and bile that is thrown around, fortunately that doesn’t seem to be reflected at The Mem as despite all this ‘divided fanbase’ and ‘toxic atmosphere’ the fans in the ground have been very supportive of the team and JB. If that changes then I will probably stop supporting Rovers - driven out by our fickle fans rather than on pitch results which over the past 35+ years I’ve learned to accept. Looking at some of the comments aimed towards Wael a very tiny part of me would like to see him sell the ground and training pitch and walk off it to the sunset and telling all his haters to get on with it if it’s so easy. Interesting that Axegas says “it will remain like this until Barton departs”. Basically the minority (who knows may grow to be a majority) won’t stop stamping their feet unless they get their own way. It will remain like this until departs, and it's far from a minority Eric. Not wanting the club to be associated with Barton isn't unreasonable. A little bit of sick comes up every time I see him in the dugout. I agree it is “far from a minority” but only on the cesspits that are social media and online forums. In the ground the fans have been very supportive of the team and JB.

Incredible how anyone could support JB given his performance here and the nonsense he consistently spouts.

And that reply is exactly the point I was trying to make. You are completely anti Barton and anyone that isnt is fair game. I'm full if it and using deliberately divisive language when all I've actually done is point out I dont like supporters at each others throats. Maybe you could tell me what I should have said rather than the Barton out crew ? If I'd said the Barton supporting crew would that still have been divisive ? Not sure if you're intentionally being dim or not? But the point I made - several times now - is you can't pretend your fed up of having fans at each others throats when in the same post your having a dig at people who think Barton should be sacked. I'm not having a dig at anyone, only you seem to think I am you just seem to want to make a big thing out of the Barton out crew part of my original post, if people want him sacked they're perfectly entitled to that opinion. At the end of the day we all support the same team and just want us to be successful.

The only way this appointment was going to be a success was if everything went swimmingly well on the pitch and Joey kept quiet off it. Both these things haven’t happened.
Right now we can forget promotion, this season is now about stabilising in mid table and slowly building us back into a team that the fans can be proud of again. Whether Barton will be managing that team, time will tell.

Wael has appointed JB to be manager and backed him to build his own squad. I don’t think there is any benefit in ripping everything up after 4 games. In the meantime I will continue to support my football club and not join those fans who seem to enjoy kicking it in.

Surely the boos were aimed at the players following the Stevenage game after a poor performance? I assume today both the players and Barton got booed. Whether you've always been anti or pro Barton if hard to know where we go from here, as there's still no real signs of improvements, defensively, with the team. I don't get why Barton sticks with his rigid 3-5-2 even when it's not working, are wingers Rodman and Anderson really ideal WB's?

I said this on another thread but support isn’t just about being a happy clapper and cheering when there is something to cheer about. It can also be about asking difficult questions when there are difficult questions to be asked and expressing dissatisfaction when things aren’t going our way so the club know to do better. We’re all supporters on here it’s just that everyone expresses that support in different ways.

There's a lot than Barton comes with and brings that crosses a line for many. It was a mad appointment from the offset.Genuinely baffled by the logic and sheer naivitity.

The boos sounded out when Barton went over to the fans, not instantly after the final whistle.

This thread should be called judge Barton by any metric you care to and you'd probably reach the same conclusion. Unless its judge Barton by the size of my erection when he talks about fighting.

But it's like Garner last season it's not just 4 games it's last season's games well. It could be Barton's totally out of his depth, as I said before it's like Buckle MK2, a former small seaside town manager finding himself out of his depth at Rovers.

TW until the end of the season would have been a far better shout. He believed in the players, they clearly responded and he wouldn't have thrown in the towel with 20+ points still to play for.
