Just use a decent VPN and hope it works? Basically your computer/mobile device needs to fool iFollow into thinking your not in the UK.

You might get kicked out during the match if it realises you don't have permission to watch. That can happen even with a VPN.
However, just come out, switch your VPN to a different country and log back in.
That can happen 4 or 5 times during a match but you only miss about a minute each time.

I've only noticed that occurring this season, I just log back in using the same VPN location, it seems pointless kicking users out if they just log straight back in again.

Didn't know you could just log out of iFollow and log straight back in without changing countries.

Its illegal to use VPN's to watch ifollow in the UK.... Kill the sport and the team you all love why don't you.... I don’t think most people choose to watch a fixture on ifollow over going to the match in person. More like they decide to watch the game on ifollow instead of not watching it at all. The kind of person who’d rather watch a football match on television is more likely to be watching the Premier League sky sports instead. That’s what’s killing the game. Not offering ifollow locks out those who can’t afford to travel to barrow and back. Those who are self isolating from Covid. Those who are not fit and well enough to attend the match in person. Those who have too much else on in their life to travel 5 hours plus each way to the ass end of nowhere. Those who aren’t comfortable going to matches yet following Covid. Those who can, still will. It’s sh**e and no substitute for attending in person.

And in return fixtures fewer travelling fans at the mem.... It might not be technically illegal but its an allowed loophole designed by a faceless organisation who care about only one thing.... Cash....

Cash.... It’s not an “allowed” loophole though, there’s just nothing they can do about it. If streaming giants can’t prevent VPNing content from other regions, there’s no way the little old EFL can. I don’t think it affects attendances that much, if you want to go, you go. Watching on ifollow is no substitute to attending in person as we saw last season. IMO it just provides clubs like Rovers and Barrow an additional income stream on top of what they already have.

Doesn't that pretty much summarise the definition of a loophole.... It was the “allowed” part I was referring to, like somehow the EFL were intentionally keeping it open. If I misunderstood, fair enough.

Doesn't that pretty much summarise the definition of a loophole.... The lower league clubs should allowed to stream games and keep revenue but the damage has been done by Sky TV and the need for VPNs and the like can be laid at their door.

I've no idea what's happening but this season I keep getting kicked out, the other poster also seems to be having the same issue. Perhaps the VPN is dropping it's guard for a second.
