You might get kicked out during the match if it realises you don't have permission to watch. That can happen even with a VPN.
However, just come out, switch your VPN to a different country and log back in.
That can happen 4 or 5 times during a match but you only miss about a minute each time.
I watched the whole game last week and never got kicked off ifollow, wish i had having watched that !

Ridiculous that Rovers fans can't pay to see the match unless a 500 mile round-trip.

If you have paid for the game and they don't know your location why would they kick you out? I've no idea what's happening but this season I keep getting kicked out, the other poster also seems to be having the same issue. Perhaps the VPN is dropping it's guard for a second. That's because i follow can remember your device from last season. Delete your temporary internet files and clear cookies.

Its illegal to use VPN's to watch ifollow in the UK.... Kill the sport and the team you all love why don't you.... I don’t think most people choose to watch a fixture on ifollow over going to the match in person. More like they decide to watch the game on ifollow instead of not watching it at all. The kind of person who’d rather watch a football match on television is more likely to be watching the Premier League sky sports instead. That’s what’s killing the game. Not offering ifollow locks out those who can’t afford to travel to barrow and back. Those who are self isolating from Covid. Those who are not fit and well enough to attend the match in person. Those who have too much else on in their life to travel 5 hours plus each way to the ass end of nowhere. Those who aren’t comfortable going to matches yet following Covid. Those who can, still will. It’s sh**e and no substitute for attending in person. 100% this. I myself watched loads of games on ifollow last season, and haven't watched any yet this season, because I'm just too busy and can't justify the time to travel to/from the matches. The lack of ifollow has resulted in at least £30 less in revenue from me alone so far.

Its illegal to use VPN's to watch ifollow in the UK.... Kill the sport and the team you all love why don't you.... If you use a VPN I think you still have to pay to watch, and the money still goes to the club, only it's in Euros/Dollars/Roubles, or whatever country/currency the VPN is in, so if it enables more fans to watch if they can't actually travel and still contribute to the clubs coffers, what's so wrong? iFollow have missed a trick by preventing UK fans from watching on a Saturday, especially with the reluctance of some fans to attend because of Covid. OK some will watch at home with their mates reducing the income, but they are probably the ones who wouldn't go anyway?

I just want to point out that it isn’t illegal and frankly gives more money to the club when many wouldn’t make it to Barrow anyway. OK, so fewer rovers fans at barrow, that helps them out? And in return fixtures fewer travelling fans at the mem.... It might not be technically illegal but its an allowed loophole designed by a faceless organisation who care about only one thing.... Cash.... Not about the vpn thingy but... I have not attended games for many years for various reasons. Previously i had always been a season ticket holder. So for many years the club had got zero cash from me. Zilch ,nothing, diddly squat. Last season , even though a terrible season i watched all the games on ifollow paying match by match. I paid out about £500. So most likely the most funds the club had ever got from me in one season. Many people do not like tv football so wouldnt watch anyway. Others might who wouldnt actually go to a game. Getting the right blend will be an important thing going forward for the EFL. I do think the overseas season ticket on ifollow might be too cheap though. It should at least be equal to an average priced seated season ticket at the ground. (In my opinion)

Yes i think the individual match prices are the same. There are season tickets available i assume in all overseas locations ? That are considerably cheaper. Good value no doubt but perhaps clubs could do better if they were more expensive.

I haven't spent a penny on Bristol Rovers this season and I'm incredibly unlikely too. I would almost certainly have watched every game this season too if ifollow were available because my one man Barton boycott would be much harder to keep up if I were able to watch at home.

But you never used a vpn last season, you had full access from the uk. (I follow would of left a tracking cookie on your device).

I watched the whole game last week and never got kicked off ifollow, wish i had having watched that ! I'm new to VPN but I've installed one recently so I can watch the games on iFollow with a clinically extremely vulnerable fan.
We're both season ticket holders for the current season but due to his condition he's not comfortable returning to crowded stadiums.
He wouldn't even know how to turn a computer on so I stay home so we can watch the match together.
We seem to get kicked out 4 or 5 times per match.
Maybe I'm choosing the wrong countries?
Did you set up a new iFollow account with a foriegn address?

Doubly so, because although we got kicked out 5 times last week we didn't miss any of Exeter's goals.

Henbury owns his own computer shop so he's not just your average computer user!

Internet bandwidth could be an issue ? Are you connecting via Wi-Fi or hard wired to the router ?
