I said I wouldn’t judge us until mid September but it’s hard not to. Nevermind Barton’s promotion talk, this is going to be a relegation scrap unless we move quickly in the transfer window this week.

Not blaming Barton for today's performance. The lack of urgency by all the players in the second half is very worrying. If they repeat this next Saturday at the Mem they will all certainly know about it. Sorry Bideford, absolutely is down to Barton, there is no structure, no tactics. We looked ok in the first half because of the individual creativity of a couple of players (who JB then took off) but as a team we are dire

What's the win percentage now? And the excuses are running out. Swindon making a mockery out of the idea that it takes months to gel etc. 16.7% win percentage. P24 W4 D3 L17 F17 A35.

What a poor show second half, clueless and gutless, no intent to win.

Went to bath city v chelmsford att 1103. Lost 1,2. sh** day all round then. Bath were asleep first 45 and didnt start the 2nd half much better. Fine margins overall and were not outplayed/disgraced in the end. Bath only started playing once ryan harley came on at 0,2, got one back late on, 5/10 mins longer and they would have got a draw. Never mind. Gas on the other hand, not surprised at all. The spiral continues.

Starnes has played a blinder here. Hires a manager that completely divides the fan base, brings the club in to disrepute, gives him the opportunity to completely redesign the squad and then it turns out he's actually sh**. Well done mate. Get out, seriously.

Well let's be fair Barrow were there for the taking, a man down at HT and on three yellow cards, i felt confident it would be just a matter of time before we would work them hard and make the extra man count.
What actually happened in the second half was almost unbelievable. We never pressed them at all, we never kept possession and made them work, just a combination of countless passing backwards and sideways with the occasional aimless long punt up the field going nowhere.
The players look frightened to death to take any responsibility of running with the ball, instead it was treated like a hot potato and they could not wait to get rid, there is no leadership, no fight, no will to win, just players going through the motions.
Barrow wanted it more than us and were unlucky not to win it with the chances they had, i think we will be lucky to get mid table.

Time for JB to go now , not good enough , tactically inept , the squad assembled also a load of sh** incapable of nothing except backwards and sideways passing , we’re a Dam joke of a football team. Sick to the back teeth of constantly being an embarrassment, I knew we wouldn’t beat this lot

Yes. Not been a great performance second half. First half we looked good. Best not to over react. Let’s see what transfers occur in next few days. Commentary team are not the most positive. If we had won 2-1 we would not be so negative. We move on.

Somehow he has ‘managed’ to make us worse! We were poor when he arrived but adequate to avoid relegation IMO. Following his appointment we have ‘progressed’ backwards. Without wanting to sound as if I’m enjoying this, because I’m not, I really can’t wait to hear what utter nonsense he is going to serve up in his after match comments. Who is left for him to blame other than himself and the players and coaches he has brought in?

Barton's 2 trials must surely be affecting his thinking and therefore his ability to manage BRFC or anyone else for that matter. I really do not see how Wael can let him continue.

Hand around the throat for the red card...
Thought it was a WWE screenshot for a second! Three of theirs all piling into our smallest player. How very brave.

Didn’t realise it was that bad, has any manager ever turned it around from that position? Probably not, it’s like the titanic turning trying to miss that iceberg. Im seriously beginning to think that JB is trying to hit the iceberg.
I think after his arrival, he realised how big the job is and quickly decided he wasn't up for the challenge. With his lack of managerial experience, the job is just too big for him. I don't blame him for that. He didn't hire himself! I think he has regretted taking the job very quickly. If he quits he gets nothing so maybe he is aiming for the iceberg to get sacked and get his pay out as it could take a while before another club takes a gamble on him so wants the money. I was against his appointment as I didn't rate his managerial record but even I didn't think his record with us would be this bad and then add the slagging off of individuals (players/staff/ex managers) and I wonder how he treats the players during the week for the players to play like they don't want to play, even his mates don't look like they are up for it. I just can't help think he is sabotaging himself to get out of the club with a pay out.
Im not saying he is doing this but I am beginning to think this way.
