Well let's be fair Barrow were there for the taking, a man down at HT and on three yellow cards, i felt confident it would be just a matter of time before we would work them hard and make the extra man count. What actually happened in the second half was almost unbelievable. We never pressed them at all, we never kept possession and made them work, just a combination of countless passing backwards and sideways with the occasional aimless long punt up the field going nowhere. The players look frightened to death to take any responsibility of running with the ball, instead it was treated like a hot potato and they could not wait to get rid, there is no leadership, no fight, no will to win, just players going through the motions. Barrow wanted it more than us and were unlucky not to win it with the chances they had, i think we will be lucky to get mid table. I was pro Barton coming in, now I say get him out now! No excuse for his record.I could deal with it if we saw improvements in our play, results and players. But we have seen nothing. Like nothing. He is a bad egg that needs boiling then thrown away. There is no improvement, nor any progress. We are just going backwards. Fact BG is Winning at Swindon tells you how much a mess we are as BG was worse than JB...

I said after the Stevenage game that the players had lost respect for their manager, there is no spark in the team players arn't putting the extra effort in. Think about would you put 110 percent in for a boss with Barton's record and now facing two more court cases I wouldn't I would certainly have my doubts over him. In that case why sign for him and move to Bristol? Possibly Clint Hill's departure hasn't helped but we were just as bad last season.

Went to bath city v chelmsford att 1103. Lost 1,2. sh** day all round then. Bath were asleep first 45 and didnt start the 2nd half much better. Fine margins overall and were not outplayed/disgraced in the end. Bath only started playing once ryan harley came on at 0,2, got one back late on, 5/10 mins longer and they would have got a draw. Never mind. Gas on the other hand, not surprised at all. The spiral continues. Why would we be interested in Bath on a match thread?

Starnes has played a blinder here. Hires a manager that completely divides the fan base, brings the club in to disrepute, gives him the opportunity to completely redesign the squad and then it turns out he's actually sh**. Well done mate. Get out, seriously. And of course this is Starnes appointment rather than teflon man Wael's?

Barton post match interview expecting four maybe five new signings next week. With possibly six or more leaving. That would mean 28 departures!
He said Pittman got 90 mins and Nicholson a goal from his return which will help.
Work in progress is what we are according to Joey.

Probably not, it’s like the titanic turning trying to miss that iceberg. Im seriously beginning to think that JB is trying to hit the iceberg.
I think after his arrival, he realised how big the job is and quickly decided he wasn't up for the challenge. With his lack of managerial experience, the job is just too big for him. I don't blame him for that. He didn't hire himself! I think he has regretted taking the job very quickly. If he quits he gets nothing so maybe he is aiming for the iceberg to get sacked and get his pay out as it could take a while before another club takes a gamble on him so wants the money. I was against his appointment as I didn't rate his managerial record but even I didn't think his record with us would be this bad and then add the slagging off of individuals (players/staff/ex managers) and I wonder how he treats the players during the week for the players to play like they don't want to play, even his mates don't look like they are up for it. I just can't help think he is sabotaging himself to get out of the club with a pay out.
Im not saying he is doing this but I am beginning to think this way.
I think you could be right.

I know, and BG is the worst manager Ive ever seen manage the gas. What does that say about JB...? We are a complete joke. Action is needed asap or we will be non league again.

This is pretty much a new group of players and yet we are seeing the exact same failings as last season?! For me, JB had until Christmas to show the improvements we all want to see, and the improvements he has been banging on about the he would produce since he waved the white flag last season and surrendered relegation. That is starting to wear thin now and I really want to see vast improvements by game 10. The rest of this transfer window could be massive for JB and us, though I’m not holding my breath we will add the required quality in the required areas. What must wael be thinking atm?! I wish we could get rid of them all from top to bottom and we could get some real football people around him who can run a club properly. We are desperately in need of some direction and vision of where we want to go and how we are going to get there and stick by it and see it through properly with the proper people involved in delivering it

Given he's apparently a wealthy individual why would he deliberately put a blot on his CV by getting sacked? It just seems he's taken on a task too big for him, pushing Fleetwood to be play off contenders was probably fat easier than turning a club completely around, whilst also facing two criminal trials, possibly issues at home and then seeing your trusted No 2 walk out.

His heart is in the right place and not for the want of trying he has made some dreadful decisions. Obviously he’s been very badly advised by some people that should know better. Wael reminds me of the Harry Enfield character- Tim but dim, bless him. I still love you Wael you will get it right one day 🙏 UTG!

Given he's apparently a wealthy individual why would he deliberately put a blot on his CV by getting sacked? He's already said the relegation won't be on his CV. He knows he won't get relegated with us again as he would be sacked before it happens to get a different relegation on his CV.
Also, regardless if you are wealthy or not, if your objective is to leave the club, would you rather quit leaving with nothing and basically admitting to the world that you were sh** and taking the responsibility for where we are now (22nd in L2) or get sacked and leave with a good pay out while being able to say you didn't get given time and can blame others and be adamant that you would have turned things around?? I know what I would do.
