This comes just after the football fan has done an interview about being a changed man from his racist days. He's come out and apologised and states he's a changed man and no one is back dating charges. Is Marc not allowed that option, especially as he was 14 at the time whereas the man who did the interview was probably older when these incidents occured

JCH was deserved IMO as he was 18 and already a professional footballer and adult. But 14 ffs.
I’m all for making it public, giving him a telling off and getting him to apologise - but to be charged? Come on now

He’s not getting punished because he’s successful, you’ve self-diagnosed the issue and then complained about your diagnosis. He’s been punished because he said unacceptable comments. At 18 you’re an adult and punishable by law as any other adult. We’re all still learning all the time, but we have 18 as an age difference for a reason. With Bola it’s different, he was actually a kid at the time and a a charge from the FA is I ridiculous when an apology would suffice IMO. |

Seems to be a full time job scrolling through historic social media comments for some. It was nearly 10 years ago when he was 14. Seems ridiculous to drag this up now. The world has changed and this this retrospective justice for what a kid said years ago before 'woke'just seems very wrong. Could have been dealt with my just a quiet word in his ear.
