Hartlepool 2-1 Rovers.
Purely based on if we play that back 3 with the unnatural wing backs Hartlepool will get the chances and space Crawley got except I think they will punish us.
Change to a flat back 4 or play wing backs who naturally play the position and we got a chance of beating anyone in the league.

I know Frosty is predicted an unchanged line up except for Nicholson, but I think we have to be tighter defensively and as much as I like Saunders and Anderson, it’s the wingbacks that will be our weak spot against a good Hartlepool side. Maybe Rodman for Saunders and push Saunders in behind Clarke alongside Evans? 1-1 hopefully.

Would be delighted with a draw here.
Hartlepool have the best home record in the country

We need to defend better as a unit, we got away with it last week but you simply can't ball watch and not pick up runners or you will get punished whatever division you play in. Hoping another week on the training ground is starting to add some understanding and cohesion and we can get a result.

JB has mentioned several times in recent interviews that to change from a losing culture to a winning culture we need to transition into a hard to beat team first. Although I’m sure he wants to win the game, as we are the away team, I’m expecting a defensive minded approach with not too much going forwards. I predict that it will be an unspectacular goalless draw with a slightly improved performance, but I’m hoping that we nick a 0-1 win.🤞

After carefully taking everything into account, I can’t see anything other than a 6-0 scoreline … I just can’t work out who to.

Big game today where a win would really give the side some confidence that we could go onto have a successful season. Unfortunately I don’t think we will but as ever always hopeful.

Away from home i think that we should set out more defensively - stop the crosses ,soak up a little pressure and break out. We now have a forward who can hold the ball and bring others in to play. Will that happen? No because we don't have defensive wing backs. It means that we have to play offensively -and just hope that we get one more goal than they do

I think it’ll be scrappy but with our confidence of the last few results and being able to win ugly, I’m going for a narrow victory and another backs to the wall 1-0 win…. Finlay or Collins to score….
Team for me 3-4-2-1
Belshaw
Kilgour, Taylor, Anderton (Harries has missed some training with illness otherwise I’d have kept him in)
Anderson Grant Finlay (c) Saunders
Evans Collins
Clarke
Bench: Ward, Thomas, Hughes, Pittman, Hargreaves (Rodman instead if fit enough), Westbrooke, Jones (or Harries if fit enough)…
Annsi and Nicholson out injured
