OK so for me, sack JB and put Maher in charge. He was part of the last success we had under GC. He didn't do himself a disservice in his last stint either if my mind recalls correctly. It's got to change and now!!!

Going forwards can we have a Manager with no issues hanging over his head.

Many will scoff at this but I would genuinely have him back. I would say he’s available but he’s gone back to coaching I believe for one of the Sheffield (or Sheffield way) clubs

I would say he’s available but he’s gone back to coaching I believe for one of the Sheffield (or Sheffield way) clubs U23s at Utd, apparently. It would be pretty awkward for all concerned if GC came back here, the board, GC himself, and a lot of the crowd, but otoh, probably our best chance of avoiding relegation this season. Maybe just ask him to do until the end of the season.

Prepare for volley of stattos proving otherwise.

Can’t see that will have changed much

Mangan, Maher, Short, Warner all in there, plus Hughes.

Maher and Widdrington.
The players can't be that sh**, it's gotta be The tactics, lack of ideas and lack of respect for the manager.

I think we need a new poll on the managerial situation.
Would be interesting to see how it compares to a few weeks ago.
I know my opinion has changed and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Barton took us down deliberately when he realised the Players were not playing for him. He sulked and hit out at certain Players. Any decent Manager would not have behaved in this way and would have driven them on with some fight and passion. Wael supported Barton and continues to do so which calls into question his judgment and competance. Barton just delivers misery piled upon more misery for Supporters and listening to his interview, his head has gone.

You don’t seriously believe he deliberately sets us up to lose or worse get us relegated on purpose last season? He’s just been Dam sh**. I honestly thought, despite his well known flaws that he’d come in and give a squad who was all but down a fighting chance (tongue in cheek of course) to survive relegation. Then I thought well that team he had was only ever going to get relegated anyway. But no he’s built his own team and then made the squad who came before and the managers who managed before him look like superstars. Utter diabolical I wouldn’t let him manage a sandbox.

He didn’t attempt to set the team out to attack last season and he won’t this. I think some managers just have a ‘style of play’…..I’m not sure what his is…..

Only Barton could slag off his previous two counterparts and then go ahead and build a worse team in a lower division.

Only Barton could slag off his previous two counterparts and then go ahead and build a worse team in a lower division. And not realise, or accept, that is exactly what he has done
