Have we never lost to a team a league below us before? So many fans moaning about losing today... The same fans that were saying they couldn't care about the fa trophy this morning, so why moan then? It's pathetic.. Asking for clarke to go again just because we lost one game. Well to be honest losing this could be the best result of our season, we could have lost a couple of key players to injury in the next round and then our league games ( the only important games this season) could go downhill massively. Honestly who gives a sh** that we are not in the fa trophy anymore? I'm not sure if it's the normal fans with a brain that are asking for clarke to go or if it's just the ones that ain't all that in the head ( no offence ) but it's stupid and cringeworthy, we are 3rd in the league and we need everybody together supporting the team to try and achieve the only thing I wanted this season, promotion.
So go have some fun with ya missus or have a beer or whatever calms you down and come back with a different attitude because the negativitity from the fans from the terraces can easily reach the players. I for one want to do anything I can to get out of this dump of a leage so the players have my support till the end... Negativity won't do anything! If you wanna moan then wait till end of the season but it's time to dig in and stick together and make sure we keep in the top 5 for the rest of the season starting with friday live on bt sport.
Up the gas!

They are not fickle just fed up of the club being so sh**.
I dont care about the fa trophy but its just another embarressing chapter.
Agree with you that the result could prove to be a blessing but it has really not helped DC win over the undecided fans. Scoring is still such an issue, how many strikers donwe have to sign before he realises its the midfield that needs changing.
Anyway a win on friday and this will be quikly forgotten

I will be having fun with the missus no fecking doubt but the numbness of this defeat will water me off all weekend, you are obviously easily pleased?

Up the gas! In some ways you talk sense about some of our fans being fickle and making out as though one minute the match didn't matter and after we've lost, our whole season is over! On the other hand, I don't see how you can call us losing 2-0 at home to a team in the league below "our best result of the season". That is absolutely ludicrous! There is no real positive to it. We will have less money to strengthen as a result. In the unfortunate case that we had picked up injuries along the way in the cup then at least we would have the money to replace them with the cup money. To be honest I don't know there is one player we would really miss if they got injured at the moment anyway. Maybe Sinclair or Brown.

Our first string outfit can't even put one past Bath City - no goals in 270 mins of football. Keep cheering, mate.

Well the manager on the radio agreed we had something to moan about, in all honesty today we did not give Bath a game and I am sure they players know that. Upto them to come back stronger on Friday.
I am not calling for Clarks head, but do think fans should be allowed to express their feelings good or bad.
No one was going to just leave in silence after such a poor performance, and thankfully our manager had the sense to acknowledge the disappointment we all felt rather than telling us to lower our expectations or simply calling us a bunch of Bristolian lady gardens.

If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck then it is a duck.
Regardless of whether you care about the FA Trophy or not this was a shitt result.
It's not fickle to be watered off with what was basically a strong team being out played.

I don't think being upset about losing to a team of part timers a league and a half below us is being fickle. It might be a nothing cup, but the fact is we haven't scored in three games, we have one of the worst scoring records in our league and on present form our league position flatters us. If we get to the playoffs we need to win head to heads like today and this performance does not fill me with confidence.

It's not fickle to be Widdleed off with what was basically a strong team being out played. Ive spent the last few years being told to keep the faith by the same old people whilst i have watched us drop two leagues into non league and now getting dominated at home by Bath city. Thats why i struggle to believe in us sometimes, not because im an angry or miserable person. Its just tough to be a gashead and tough to believe in the people behind this club. Anyway on to friday

I feel very uncomfortable with the booing at the end and the singing "This is embarrassing..." during the game. We were as embarrassing as they were.
They were truly awful, but we know they can play much better, because we've seen it. Not much point in ripping into them like that. They'll be far better on Friday.

To be fair, that rendition of 'this is embarassing' was so embarassing that I thought it actually referred to that rendition of 'this is embarassing' and was a clever comment on the nature of recursion.

It was embarrassing to be 2-0 down to a bunch of part times probably earning a tenth of some of our first teamers. Just when we think we've got rid of players who didn't wear the shirt with pride 13 of them showed they don't give a t0ss. On a brighter note it was a fantastic turn today, perhaps the club could do something to reward the 3,000 who turned up?
