The early season league results for Bristol Rovers have again been poor.
For the last FIVE seasons the start to the season has been disappointing.
2017/2018 Season.
P – 9. W – 4. D – 0. L – 5. GF – 15. GA – 19. GD – 4. PTS – 12.
Key defenders – Tom Lockyer, Ryan Sweeney, Lee Brown.
2018/2019 Season.
P – 9. W – 2. D – 2. L – 5. GF – 9. GA – 11. GD – 2. PTS – 8.
Key defenders – Tom Lockyer, Tony Craig, James Clarke.
2019/2020 Season.
P – 9. W – 3. D – 3. L – 3. GF – 10. GA – 11. GD – 1. PTS – 12.
Key defenders – Tom Davies, Tony Craig, Luke Leahy.
2020/2021 Season.
P – 9. W – 3. D – 3. L – 3. GF – 10. GA – 13. GD – 3. PTS – 12.
Key defenders – Max Ehmer, Cian Harries, Jack Baldwin.
2021/2022 Season.
P – 9. W – 3. D – 1. L – 5. GF – 8. GA – 14. GD – 6. PTS – 10.
Key defenders – Mark Hughes, Nick Anderton, Harry Anderson.
Hopefully, the next FIVE fixtures go better than the 2018/19 season and the 2020/21 nightmare.
2018/2019 Season.
P – 14. W – 2. D – 5. L – 7. GF – 9. GA – 13. GD – 4. PTS – 11.
Key defenders – Tom Lockyer, Tony Craig, James Clarke.
2020/2021 Season.
P – 14. W – 3. D – 4. L – 7. GF – 11. GA – 22. GD – 12. PTS – 13.
Key defenders – Max Ehmer, Cian Harries, Jack Baldwin.
It would be great if the next five games are not so poor as in these two seasons.

So JB's for us off to our best start, with 13 pts, for 5 season's, that's pretty impressive given the squad rebuilding he undertook in the summer.

It was also written that Tom Nichols would score the winner against us, so it looks like even this soap opera is a bit sh**. We need better writers.

TNs curse at the Mem was too good to be overwritten by getting a grudge winner against us.

In fairness Chris Lines scored the winner against us from a corner, that episode was pretty good. Ending would have been better if Coughlan had been managing us.

Tune in next week when BG brings himself on and nets the winner...
